Tidemaster Dexikos Champion Lore Synopsis

For many decades, the steadfast Tidemaster Dexikos has guarded the shores and shallow waters of the island of Aior. Known among the Tritoneans as a devoted servant of the sea, Dexikos acts as both steward and messenger of the ocean’s will. The meeting point of land, air, and water around Aior is regarded as sacred territory, and Dexikos treats it with deep care and discipline. His watch is patient and thoughtful, as he studies the tides, the shifting coastline, and the subtle movements of the sea that shape the island’s fragile balance.

Among the Tritoneans, Tidemasters hold a special place because of their rare bond with the ocean. Dexikos shares this belief that the sea itself carries a vast living awareness, a great spirit formed from every current, grain of sand, plant, and creature beneath the waves. This spirit is believed to reward respect and punish carelessness, and maintaining that balance is the sacred duty of those chosen to serve it. Because of this responsibility, Dexikos carries himself with confidence and authority, knowing that few possess such an intimate link with the ocean’s voice.

To honour this bond, Dexikos carefully records the rhythms of the tides and studies the marks they leave along the coast. He maps the shape of the shoreline and observes how storms, winds, and currents reshape the beaches over time. Rituals of gratitude are performed to thank the sea for its steady patterns and generous bounty. Yet Dexikos is not merely a scholar of the shore. He also acts as its vigilant protector. Any traveller wishing to step onto Aior’s fertile ground must first meet his standards of respect and restraint.

Those who arrive with greedy intentions soon learn the price of ignoring his authority. Sailors who plunder too freely from the island’s forests or waters risk finding their ships battered by sudden waves or pulled toward hidden reefs by powerful currents. Dexikos also keeps a careful watch on the shoreline itself. Anyone who leaves tangled nets, discarded ropes, or other debris is forced to return and clean the damage they have caused. Likewise, those who fish too heavily or attempt to reshape the island without permission quickly face his anger.

Dexikos also listens to the voices of the sea’s creatures. Through a rare form of mental magic shared by Tidemasters, he can speak with fish, turtles, and other dwellers of the shallows. These creatures share their concerns and warn him when the balance of their home is threatened. Though Dexikos prefers quiet study and peaceful communion with the ocean, he will not hesitate to act when harm is done. Drawing upon powerful hydromantic magic, he can heal wounded sea beasts, guide allies unseen beneath the waves, and strike enemies with jets of water so fierce they cut like blades.

I was lucky enough to be blessed with full argonites merciless accessories…. already have a full six-piece merciless set so I got bored one day and ran him in a 9-piece merciless. he is absolutely not to be slept on

  2. Ted Tedstone

The ratings for Dexikos are absurdly low.
He hits hard, he’s got an AE A2 (with a cool graphic), he puts shields up on injured allies, he heals, he revives.
His revive adds 15% of his HP to the original revive HP.
He’s 5.0 on the Doom Tower Scarab, no question.
I’m sure he’ll be a great carry on Faction wars.

    Don’t sleep on the Tidemaster.

  3. DreadlockChewbaca

@Tiana Unless they make the Argonites faction crypt vastly different from the current ones we have, it’s not hard to know how he will perform, we can all read his kit and have played enough faction wars to know how a kit like his would perform there.

  4. DreadlockChewbaca

@Tiana Unless they make the Argonites faction crypt vastly different from all the others, it’s not that hard to guess how he’ll do in that area, we can all read his kit, and have all played enough faction wars that we would know how a kit like that would perform in what we’ve played already.

  5. Tiana

How do you know how it acts in Faction Wars? We don’t have FW for Argonites yet, do we?

  6. Warren

This guy’s passive should make Scarab King a piece of cake, it seems.
