Emerging from the ashes, Tholin vowed vengeance, turning his dark knowledge against the very forces he once served. With the release of Patch 10.50 and the launch of the Chaos Awakes event, Tholin Foulbeard enters the battlefield as a champion specifically designed to counter Kurosa the Covetous. In this special event dungeon, players face off against Kurosa to farm Pinpoint Set artifacts, and Tholin’s arrival couldn’t be more timely. Attacks all enemies. Before attacking, has a 25% chance of placing a 25% [Weaken] debuff for 2 turns. Has a 50% chance of placing a 25% [Weaken] debuff for 2 turns, if the target is from the Corrupted Alliance, a Boss or a minion. This effect cannot be resisted by enemies from the Corrupted Alliance, Bosses or minions. Grants an Extra Turn if a [Weaken] debuff was placed on all enemies by this skill.

Each hit decreases the target’s ATK by 5% (stacks up to 25%). Each hit also increases this Champion’s ATK by 5% (stacks up to 50%).

Tholin Foulbeard was once a devoted servant of the Shadow God Siroth, spending his early life among the Painsmiths, a group of Dwarves loyal to darkness. He studied shadow magic and mastered the creation of twisted weapons and armour, pushing his body to its limits and beyond through the corrupting power of evil spells. Praised by his kin and believed to be favoured by Siroth, Tholin’s body and mind were transformed by the dark arts. His strength grew, his hunger for rest faded, and his wrath smouldered. For a time, he thrived in the heart of darkness, proud of his role and eager to serve.

But the tide soon turned. As the Demonspawn demanded more from the Painsmiths, their loyalty was rewarded with betrayal. Tribute was never enough, and death followed with every new gift forged. Tholin watched his people fall, butchered by the very beings they had served. His world descended into chaos, where desperate last stands and failed experiments marked the end of his kin. The god they worshipped offered no salvation, only orders to continue. In the blood-soaked ruins of his home, Tholin turned his back on Siroth and walked away from the nightmare, alone.

From the ashes, a different Tholin emerged. Hardened by battle and driven by vengeance, he became a relentless hunter of Demonspawn. His former knowledge of dark magic, once used to empower evil, now fuelled his crusade against it. Twisted and scarred by what he had endured, Tholin channelled every ounce of fury into the tools of war he once built for others. He carried the remains of his greatest foe in one hand and the fire of retribution in his eyes, his soul bound to a new purpose. There was no longer room for pity or rest, only vengeance.

Years passed, and Tholin roamed the darkest corners of Teleria, hunting the followers of Siroth without mercy. He offered no explanations, no second chances, just swift, brutal execution. His past granted him the power to sense dark magic, and his future was one of endless war. He became a symbol of unrelenting defiance, not for honour or glory, but because there was nothing else left for him.

When a new threat rose in the form of Kurosa the Covetous, Tholin was ready. Hidden deep beneath the Skyiron Dominion, he felt her arrival like a chill in his bones. With weapons in hand and a familiar rage bubbling to the surface, he welcomed the coming storm. More enemies meant more chances to do what he did best.
