Theodosia the Disgraced Overview

Whispers of vengeance and salvation ripple through the underworld as Theodosia the Disgraced emerges as a formidable Mythical champion in the Undead Hordes faction. This enigmatic figure wields the power to shift between two distinct forms, each tailored for specific battlefield needs. Whether shielding allies from harm or plunging enemies into chaos, Theodosia is a master of versatility. Her ability to cleanse debuffs, heal her team, and manipulate enemy speed makes her indispensable in both PvE and PvP content. With her Metamorph skill granting seamless transitions between forms, she adapts dynamically to any challenge, ensuring players have the tools to dominate arenas, dungeons, and boss fights alike.

In her base form, Theodosia transforms into a bastion of protection and sustain, ideal for keeping her team alive during grueling encounters. Her A2 skill, Deranged Fortitude, removes all harmful debuffs from allies while applying Perfect Veil and Stoneskin, creating an impenetrable shield against status effects and incoming damage. Coupled with her passive, Heinous Protection, which equalizes the HP of the team every 7 turns and reduces damage based on lost HP, she ensures unparalleled survivability. Additionally, her A1 skill, Serpentia’s Storm, provides consistent healing and accelerates her Turn Meter, allowing her to cycle through skills faster. These abilities shine in prolonged battles like Hydra Head of Torment or Chimera, where sustaining the team over time is crucial. By neutralizing threats and bolstering her allies, Theodosia’s base form becomes a cornerstone for endurance-based strategies.

Switching to her alternate form, Theodosia unleashes her darker side, becoming a relentless engine of debuffs and crowd control. Her A3 skill, Somnolent Whisper, blankets enemies in Sleep debuff and Decrease Speed debuffs, crippling their ability to act while reducing their Turn Meters by 25%. This proves devastating against bosses like Sand Devil, where slowing down attacks can stack up massive damage. Meanwhile, her A2, Baleful Onslaught, steals enemy buffs, applies Block Buffs and Decrease Defense, and protects these debuffs if her speed surpasses theirs — making her a nightmare in Arena and against high-defense foes like Hydra. Her A1, I Will Find You, further dismantles enemy speed and disrupts key mechanics of bosses such as Fire Knight and Dark Fae. With immunity to Block Active Skills via her passive, They Are Beneath Me , she ensures uninterrupted form-switching while amplifying ally damage. This form excels in offensive setups, turning the tide in favor of her team.

Theodosia the Disgraced Champion Lore Synopsis

Narses and Ankora ruled over the Dragonkin Empire satrapy of Valdemar with wisdom and kindness, earning the love of their people. When their first child, Theodosia, was born, they raised her with the same devotion. However, from an early age, Theodosia displayed an unsettling nature. She was cruel, lashing out at others and inflicting harm on animals for her own pleasure. Her intelligence surpassed her peers, but her dark humour and fascination with forbidden knowledge alarmed many. Whispers spread that she was touched by demonic forces or was not truly human. Despite their efforts, her parents could not suppress her sinister tendencies. As discontent grew among the nobility, Narses and Ankora made the painful decision to exile their daughter to a remote Lumayan monastery, hoping isolation and prayer would cleanse her of her darkness.

At the monastery, Theodosia feigned obedience, but in secret, she delved deeper into dark magic. She seduced and manipulated the monastery’s guards, gaining access to its collection of hidden texts. Within these pages, she uncovered the secrets of transmutation, regeneration, and mind control. Slowly, she corrupted many of the monks and nuns, drawing them into her web of power. Eventually, she secured two ancient and powerful relics: Hatethorn, an ebony-bladed dagger, and Serpentia, a staff adorned with a skull and coiled serpents. To imbue them with magic, she sacrificed many of her followers and even part of her own vitality, leaving the left side of her body necrotic and discoloured.

The few monks who resisted Theodosia’s influence recognised the danger too late. One fateful night, they launched an attack on her cult, setting the monastery ablaze. Though Theodosia unleashed horrifying spells, twisting flesh and melting bodies, she was ultimately overwhelmed. A dozen monks pinned her down and crushed the life from her. Her body was entombed in a forgotten crypt, but out of respect for her noble lineage, she was still mummified according to Valdemar tradition. The monastery purged all records of her existence, attempting to erase her evil from history.

Centuries later, the Scourge of Darkness swept across Teleria, bringing the plague of Undeath. The dark energy reawakened Theodosia, who embraced her resurrection without hesitation. Her body, now immortal, felt like the perfect vessel for her insatiable hunger for power. Breaking free from her tomb, she found the monastery abandoned, but her treasured relics missing. Drawn by their presence, she traced them to a Sacred Order vault. Without mercy, she slaughtered those guarding them, her necromantic abilities now stronger than ever.

With her weapons reclaimed, Theodosia considered her next move. Before she could decide, she sensed something unexpected—her parents, also risen from the grave. Remembering their betrayal, a thirst for vengeance ignited within her. She set out to track them down, only to find Valdemar long destroyed and no sign of Narses or Ankora. Undeterred, she vowed to scour Teleria for them, determined to exact retribution. With eternity ahead of her, she would not rest until their reunion was complete, and their suffering matched her own.
