The Incarnate Champion Lore Synopsis

The Incarnate is a tragic creation born from the Arbiter’s desperation during the Great Divorce, a time of chaos and war between the gods. Seeking to protect Teleria from destruction, the Arbiter created these artificial beings by trapping the souls of loyal Elves into constructs. These beings were meant to serve as perfect soldiers, immune to temptation and utterly obedient to the forces of Light. However, in her haste, the Arbiter stripped away their individuality and free will, turning them into emotionless, lifeless creations resembling herself. While powerful, these early Incarnates were deeply flawed, and their creation soon filled the Arbiter with regret.

The Arbiter’s initial attempts at soul-binding the Incarnates were a step toward what would later become the Shards, though the Incarnates were far less refined. Unlike the Shards, which preserved a person’s memories and will, the Incarnates reduced their souls to a mere essence, leaving them as hollow shells. The process of creating these constructs was not voluntary; the Elves were deceived into sacrificing their souls for a cause they believed was just. This heavy moral compromise weighed on the Arbiter’s conscience, as she realized she had resorted to methods not unlike those of the necromancers she would come to despise.

Despite their faults, the Incarnates fought valiantly during the Great Divorce, alongside the mortal races and the Dwarves who allied with Lumaya. However, even their relentless strength wasn’t enough to turn the tide of the war. The forces of Darkness, led by Siroth, continued to gain ground, and many of the Firstborn were corrupted. In desperation, Lumaya and the Arbiter cast a powerful spell known as the Great Curse, banishing the gods and most of the Firstborn from Teleria, leaving behind only the mortal races and the Arbiter herself.

After the war, the Arbiter faced the haunting reality of what she had done. Hundreds of Incarnates, all bearing her likeness, remained behind, gazing at her in silent obedience. Overcome with guilt, she deactivated most of them, releasing the souls trapped within and allowing them the peace they had been denied. She destroyed their bodies and crushed their gems, whispering apologies as she freed the Elves’ spirits. Only a few Incarnates were spared, kept as a last resort in case her Shards ever failed.

Now, the remaining Incarnates serve as silent guardians, acting solely on the Arbiter’s orders. Though they protect Lumaya’s forces, their allies remain uneasy around them, disturbed by their cold, expressionless forms. The Incarnates, once a symbol of hope, now stand as a grim reminder of the lengths to which desperation can lead, and the cost of forsaking morality in the name of survival.

It’s easy to miss one, they were all there… I got Incarnate with .25 extra because I did the extra .50 shown at bottom of schedule (shard burn – used all my resources lol) and then skipped one event. However, that event may have been added with an update to schedule; I don’t remember seeing it when the schedule was initially published.

I can’t finger out if I miss an event/tournament I thought I did all the events & I 25 short to complete my last fusion
