Raid Shadow Legends – Sorceress is a Rare Attack Force champion from the Undead Hordes faction where she can be obtained from Mystery Shards and Ancient Shards.
Sorceress Purpose
- Sorceress is an attack debuffer champion who applies debuff to crowd control enemies and allow her allies to deal more damage.
- Crystal Bolt has a low success rate of inflicting 15% Decrease Speed, making it unreliable to crowd control enemies in many areas.
- Magic Arrows delivers high amount of damage with a low chance of placing an extra hit. This skill is mainly for defeating enemies especially the ones with high amount of health.
- Vine Trap applies 60% Decrease Defense to a single-target to enable her allies to quickly defeat the champion. However, this skill has a long skill cooldown and low success rate, which makes it an unreliable skill.
Conclusion
- Sorceress skills are below average for Rare champion and she can be easily replaced with better Rare champions in applying Decrease Defense and Decrease Speed.
- It’s not recommended to invest too much resources in her and best used up to 4★ Rank. She will be used as fodder to rank up better champions.
I happened to randomly pull a “Perfect Soul” for Sorceress (just my luck…) so I ranked her up in order to awaken her. Only problem is I genuinely don’t know what to use her for, outside Faction Wars and maybe some rare-only Secret Rooms.
Any thoughts on what Blessing might be good for this champion?
I know Phantom Touch is the default go-to for crappy rare attackers, but given Sorceress’ very limited usability, I thought maybe something like Carapace could come in handy for FW boss.
@ShalokShalom — actually, early on a couple of masteries are both cheap and help a character get their stats up just enough to do some good in Faction Wars. Like Juergen I use a Sorceress on my baby account which isn’t exactly spoiled for champion choice and great gear. She does fine up to and including the first Boss so far, her A2 hits hard and has a short cooldown, and the T1 masteries help with her crit rate and resistance. There are lots of characters like her in my baby FW teams; most will never get built past 4*40 (and later become food), but up to that point they help me get a lot of mats and glyphs.
@ShalokShalom: Some users requested for masteries and I have provided here. It’s up to the players whether they would want to use masteries on her. The page states that this champion’s usability is for Early Game and her ratings are average, so not recommended to invest a lot of resources into her.
I used her in Faction Wars early in the game where she was decent and helped – if you are mid-late game she becomes more and more useless. Not worthy 6-staring, took mine to 40, no masteries and that was ok
Why would anybody master such a character?

I’m a bit confused as to why she is ranked so low ..seems better than quite a few B champions.
@Rook: The ratings in game are sometimes inaccurate as some players have tendency to put all 5 stars without testing the champion thoroughly. There are cases where players simply just add their rating by following what the majority has added (e.g. 1 stars) although it may not be the case where the champion isn’t terrible. The ratings given here are based on her skills and experiences using her in battle.
Why is there such a discrepancy between your ratings here and the IG ones?
