Solanar the Gleaming stands as a Void Legendary from the High Elves, a radiant warrior whose power burns as fiercely as the midsummer sun. Named for the solstice and shaped by years of devotion to Light magic, Solanar embodies brilliance, pride, and intensity. His golden blade glows with searing radiance, its curved edge etched in sunlit script, while molten light pulses from the sigil embedded in his chest. Dark markings trace across his pale skin, a deliberate tribute to Noldua the Gloaming, the Dark Elf who reshaped his understanding of balance. Draped in gilded armor and flowing sun-hued cloth, Solanar is more than a symbol of celestial power. On the battlefield, he fulfills the role of a single target executioner and anti sustain specialist, built to dismantle buff heavy teams and punish enemies who rely on speed manipulation, healing, or extra turns.

His skill set reflects both aggression and calculated control. Solar Surge (A1) strikes all enemies and can inflict Fatigue, pressuring opponents after they use active skills. More importantly, it enables counterattacks whenever enemies gain extra or instant turns, making Solanar a direct answer to speed driven Arena teams. When paired with Noldua, every strike becomes a guaranteed critical hit, freeing his build to prioritize raw Attack and Critical Damage. This synergy transforms him into a devastating finisher who scales rapidly with offensive stats while maintaining control over enemy momentum.

Blazing Force and Unfettered Radiance define his single target dominance. Unfettered Radiance (A3) steals all buffs and completely drains Turn Meter before striking, ignoring Stone Skin and resisting prevention. Against heavily protected targets, this creates immediate vulnerability. Those stolen buffs then amplify Blazing Force (A2), which ignores increasing amounts of Defense for each buff on Solanar. Together, these abilities form a seamless cycle: strip, empower, and eliminate. Blazing Force also grants full debuff immunity while available, converting incoming debuffs into random buffs instead. Meanwhile, Unfettered Radiance reduces incoming damage from extra turns and refreshes itself when enemies manipulate Turn Meter, ensuring Solanar thrives in the very environment designed to overwhelm others.

His passive, Scholar of Sun, cements his late fight value. Enemy healing is completely nullified and redirected to Solanar, turning sustain strategies into liabilities. Attacks all enemies. This attack is always critical if Noluda the Gloaming is on the same team. Has a 60% chance of placing a [Fatigue] debuff on all enemies for 1 turn.
[Passive Effect] Has an 80% chance to counterattack with this skill whenever an enemy gets an Extra Turn or has an Instant Turn effect activated. Has a 15% chance to counterattack with this skill whenever an enemy has their Turn Meter increased.

Blazing Force (Cooldown: 4 turns)
Attacks 1 enemy. This attack is always critical if Noluda the Gloaming is on the same team. Will ignore 10% of the target’s DEF for each buff on this Champion. This Champion is immune to all debuffs while this skill is not on cooldown. Whenever an enemy attempts to place a debuff on this Champion while this skill is not on cooldown, this Champion gains a random buff instead.

Unfettered Radiance (Cooldown: 4 turns)
Attacks 1 enemy. Before attacking, steals all buffs and 100% Turn Meter from the target if they are not under a [Stone Skin] buff. This effect cannot be resisted. This attack is always critical if Noluda the Gloaming is on the same team. Will ignore [Stone Skin] buffs. This Champion receives 75% less damage on enemy Extra Turns or Instant Turns while this skill is not on cooldown. While this skill is on cooldown, reduces the cooldown by 1 whenever an enemy receives an Extra Turn, has an Instant Turn effect activated on them, or has their Turn Meter increased. Occurs once per turn.

Scholar Of Sun (Passive)
Whenever an enemy receives healing, has a 100% chance to reduce the amount of healing received to zero. This Champion will receive that healing instead. If Noluda the Gloaming is on the same team, enemies will receive damage equal to the amount of healing instead.
Once per Round, if this Champion is dead, revives this Champion with 100% HP and 100% Turn Meter when their last living ally is killed. Then places a [Magma Shield] buff on this Champion for 2 turns. The value of the [Magma Shield] is equal to 300% of this Champion’s MAX HP. If Noluda the Gloaming is on the same team, this buff is protected.

Solanar was named for the summer solstice, and from childhood he felt bound to the sun. He delighted in its warmth and brilliance, and as he grew older that fascination deepened into a devotion to astronomy and Light magic. At the great universities of Aravia, his charm shone as brightly as his studies. He gathered friends with ease, his presence as reassuring as a clear summer day. Yet his nature burned hot. He was bold and outspoken, quick to defend his beliefs, and his temper flared as fiercely as the star he admired.

Though Aravia offered him knowledge and admiration, Solanar longed for wider horizons. He left behind his companions and journeyed to the Bibliotheque Spire in Kaerok, a renowned centre of learning. There he encountered Noldua, a Dark Elf of Durham Forest. Raised on tales of betrayal and war, Solanar had grown up believing Dark Elves were enemies of his people. Noldua’s devotion to night, moonlight, shadow, and silence stirred his anger at once. Yet alongside his resentment came an unspoken pull. Her pale beauty and composed grace unsettled him, and the conflict within only sharpened his hostility. Noldua returned his disdain in full measure.

Their clashes became legendary within the Spire. They argued with biting words and cutting sarcasm, each determined to defend their heritage and ideas. Months passed with no sign of peace, until the Spire’s leaders warned them both that further quarrels would lead to banishment. Faced with that threat, Solanar tried to avoid Noldua and buried himself in study. Still, she lingered in his thoughts. Elder Elves who had long lived in the Spire urged him to reconsider the old hatred between their peoples, reminding him that distance from past wars had softened many hearts. Slowly, their counsel began to take root.

Tolerance came first. Then simple greetings. Over time, their exchanges grew thoughtful rather than hostile. Solanar began to listen. He discovered in Noldua a steady resolve and calm strength. Where he reacted with heat, she answered with patience. Their sharp jests softened into humour, and disputes turned into shared exploration. Through her, Solanar realised that Light alone could not sustain Teleria. Darkness held equal worth. In accepting this truth, he also accepted his feelings. He had come to love her.

To honour both Noldua and the balance she represented, Solanar marked his own body with dark patterns, a public sign that night and shadow had value beside the sun. Those who witnessed their union saw more than romance. They glimpsed a possible healing between divided Elven kin, echoing the ancient bond of Siroth and Lumaya, and wondered if this love might signal the first step towards reconciliation.
