Skeletor Masteries Champion Lore Synopsis

Skeletor, a cunning sorcerer and necromancer, is the most feared figure in the legendary land of Eternia. Known for his sharp wit, chilling cackle, and unrelenting ambition, Skeletor is fixated on conquering Castle Grayskull to seize its secret powers. His ultimate goal is to overthrow He-Man, the most powerful man in the universe, and claim the fabled Power Sword. Despite his terrifying reputation, Skeletor’s obsessive quest for domination often results in both comedic failures and humiliating retreats.

Skeletor commands an eclectic army of monstrous creatures, ruthless sorceresses, and bizarre metal constructs, all loyal to his cause. His arsenal of dark relics, gathered from the darkest corners of Eternia, bolsters his malevolent ambitions. Among these is the Havoc Staff, a powerful scepter crowned with a menacing ram’s skull, which serves as a symbol of his dark magic. Yet, his plans repeatedly falter, and his minions, inept and disorganised, frequently bear the brunt of his wrath through colourful insults that have become iconic among the people.

Despite his formidable appearance, Skeletor is as much a source of amusement as fear. He-Man consistently thwarts his schemes with ease, leaving Skeletor to escape with his signature cackle, licking his wounds. These tales have cemented Skeletor’s role as an emblem of failure, with his insults and tantrums woven into the cultural fabric of Telerian humour. Ironically, this mockery endears Skeletor to the public, transforming him into a beloved, albeit hapless, villain.

The stories of Skeletor and He-Man serve a greater purpose, championing the triumph of goodness over darkness. Skeletor’s bumbling villainy and He-Man’s unwavering decency underscore values like perseverance and integrity. Even institutions like the Lumayan Church, typically opposed to the portrayal of dark magic, tolerate Skeletor’s character due to the moral lessons his repeated defeats impart. By turning Skeletor into a figure of ridicule, the tales bolster the people’s confidence in confronting real threats of evil.

A few, however, believe these tales are rooted in truth, claiming Skeletor and He-Man once existed. They connect Snake Mountain, Skeletor’s lair, to ancient necromantic cultures and attempt to revive Skeletor’s soul, though these efforts fail. Skeptics dismiss these theories, yet they suggest a curious twist: perhaps Skeletor’s enduring mystique is his final triumph. Even in defeat, he continues to provoke wonder and mischief, his legacy as an enigmatic and laughable menace forever etched in Eternian lore.

This champion has too low ratings, especially for Spider’s Den. The champion is incredibly strong as a leader with support from Sir Nicholas. Level 17 is passed quickly, and Skeletor gives excellent accuracy to the rest of the team. For this, the numbers of this champion should be changed, and he should not be selected in B, but should be at least in A, for C I would not select him, but for A instead of B, he is valuable.

    @Felonious Gist, @Brian, same tune with He-Man.

Neat Easter… err, Chrismas Egg. Thanks for pointing it out.

    @Ayumilove,

I think what josi1 (below) is saying is that you have 8 Masteries listed in the Support Tree of Skeletor’s Masteries Guide for Arena, Doom Tower, Faction Wars but only 7 branches highlighted (Eagle-Eye listed, but not highlighted on the upper chart)

  4. BillyBob

If you only use his A1 does sniper impact the % chance to extend other debuffs? I ask this because isnt the wording of his booked A1 abilities wrong? It says “+10/15% buff/debuff chance” if booked, but his A1 itself isnt actually placing any debuffs, only extending current ones. “+10/15% chance to extend a debuff” would be more accurate no? Is the game is counting his A1 as actually placing 1 more tick to a debuff and thus could be impacted by sniper? Maybe its just a semantics thing and there are other skills worded in this way I am unaware of.

There’s only one change they need to do to make Skeletor good… and that’s Skull Comet AOE (Attack All)… there, problem solved.

  6. Gee

Question can you please add the blessing to all champion aswell.
It will make it eazy for everyone to read a build that has everything.

  7. QQ

there is an issue in the support branch. can’t get both Rapid Response and Swarm Smiter. Looks like Swarm Smiter is the correct choice

  8. Rocpkr

I’am closing in on Lev 99 and don’t have anyone really strong as I don’t attempt to “Buy” better. I’am maxed out on all levels, challenges do to my low power level so I will take all “free” fighters. For my level of play without throwing away money, I think he will make at least my fraction team stronger, Same as when we got Loki.

  9. Pu

Call him Trashcan Guy and Nobody cry, but dont call this Shit skeletor. Thats a sick Joke.

  10. Felonious Gist

Boy, talk about bitter! hello, people: the dude is a **free** champ, for Pete’s sake!! So what the hell are you all complaining about? Talk about ungrateful! sheeesh… Were you expecting Plarium to hand you some champ like UDK instead?? Get real, people!

Brian was the *only* commenter here who said something worth reading with his a cool heads-up re. the music Easter Egg when viewing Skeletor in the Champion collection! Thanks, bro!

  11. Brian

Want to find a neat “Easter egg”?

Make sure the music is on, go to Champions, put him on the screen, and listen closely at how the background music changes.

    Cool, right?

  12. Matthew Martin

Aside from looking pretty bad a$s and the nostalgia of it, this champion us pretty mediocre. Should be “Epic”, at best.

  13. pdub517

I use Skeletor with Skalvalax to extend the poison duration. Seems to work well leveling them both at the same time.

  14. Pu

Worst Login Champ ever! Skillset Rare and only good thing is 5 starSoul for Brimstone! But then call Champ 5 Star Brimstone and dont Skeletor! Skeletor should be a great champ: A1 Ally Attack, A2 AOE and A3 Set bombs AOE for A2?

  15. josi1

du hast in der meisterschaft 1 zuviel drinn

  16. josi1

du hast in den meisterschaften 1 zuviel drinn

  17. Dino

Means he even sucks in the arena.

  18. Regnar

How is he an Arena Specialist, but only rated 4 stars in the arena?
