Richtoff the Bold Dungeon Solo Build

Here are Richtoff the Bold’s artifacts and masteries by Tyrauku optimized as a dungeon solo farmer for Dragon 25. Richtoff is equipped in Regeneration Set and Immortal Set to provide him with a large amount of healing each time he takes his turn. The stats to prioritize on him are Accuracy, Speed, Health and Defense. You will need at least 225 Accuracy to allow Richtoff to successfully apply Poison debuff on enemies and 220+ Speed to go twice of the enemy turn. Once you have achieve these minimum stats, the remaining points should be distributed to get the highest amount of Health and Defense. It’s recommended to have 65K Health and 3K Defense stats to survive against the 2 waves of mobs before the Dragon boss. If you have decent gears, you can attempt to get 280 Resistance to make it easy to resist the 2nd wave of enemy’s instant negative effect which are Decrease Turn Meter.

Richtoff the Bold Review

Richtoff the Bold is a Legendary Attack Spirit affinity champion from the Banner Lords faction in Raid Shadow Legends. Although he has been overlooked in the past, Richtoff received a much-needed buff in September 2020, giving him new value in the game.

Richtoff has proven his worth in various game modes. In Dragon, he is a strong performer, with the ability to place poisons using his A2, which increases his crit damage for each poison on the target. This skill allows him to deal heavy damage to the enemy. In dungeons with waves, Richtoff is a useful champion due to his great AOE poison ability. When paired with a poison exploder, they can create some of the highest damage and fastest compositions in Raid.

Richtoff has been widely used in Doom Tower due to his Decrease Enemy Max HP ability on his A1. He is one of the few positive affinities that can break Borgoth’s shield, making him a valuable asset in the game.

Finally, Richtoff is also a great champion for Ice Golem and is strong in Faction Wars. His poison abilities make him a versatile and valuable asset to any team. Though often overlooked, Richtoff the Bold has proven his worth in many areas of the game and should not be underestimated.

Richtoff the Bold Storyline

Few would dare argue that the Captain of King Tayba’s personal Guard, Richtoff, known as the “Bold”, earned his title. Born to the family of a stone broke minor noble, Richtoff’s prospects in life were not much better than those of a commoner. But Lumaya herself must have smiled upon him. Rather than being sent as a page to a noble of similar worth (or rather lack thereof) or to his own father, Richtoff’s fate took a different turn. The Grand Tourney in Kaerok Castle gathered nobles from all across the kingdom, no matter how inconsequential they may be. And where most young nobles were content to just watch and dream of the day they could take part themselves, Richtoff attempted to sneak past the guards onto the archery range. The King, amused by such a brazen act, stopped his men from dragging Richtoff away and allowed the boy to participate. Many laughed and openly mocked the upstart, yet as soon as Richtoff’s first arrow struck true the murmurs and jeering ceased. He could not match the true masters at that age, of course, but had shown himself to be talented enough to earn his place at Kaerok’s court. There he was given the tools and teachers to hone his skill. Upon reaching adulthood Richtoff was already known as one of the best sharpshooters the Kingdom had to offer. He is said to have slain trolls and undead with but a single shot from hundreds of paces away, and none could match the speed with which he reloaded his crossbow to batter the enemy with a hail of quarrels. Now an anointed Knight, Richtoff has recently risen through the ranks to lead the King’s own Guard. And Kaerok’s enemies can be certain, never again shall the King be threatened while his loyal servants keep vigil.

@Kuly01. Yes his A2 requires accuracy. Debuffs always do unless they say “cannot be resisted”. The reason it says “place” poisons is because it is not a part of the attack and therefore can’t weak hit.

  2. PAUL

@mohongai can I see your build? Want to build him for d25

  3. mohongai

A 4 star rating on dragon is laughable. He’s like 6star honestly. People look at this guys in game ratings and think he is bad but he is criminally underrated.

I have him farming dragon stage 25 SOLO in under 2 minutes. he averages around 1:50min. And i have him level 4 food at the same time, its actually broken.

I have him fully booked so yes it does speed up the time, but even then he can do it just a bit longer of course.

  4. Kuly01

Does his a2 require accuracy ? it simply says “Each hit places a 5% [Poison] debuff on all enemies for 2 turns.

By that skill description he just places the poison & it does not suggest he has a chance to place the poison.

  5. Tom

I pulled this guy yesterday and immediately thought he woukd be quite devastating in a cb team with Bad El, frozen Banshee, Vizier, and pain keeper. The poison damage and damage multiplier from bad el would be crazy. Thoughts?

  6. Bishop084

Each *hit. Fat fingers, didn’t even spell my name right…

  7. Biship084

    @ThegoodmanKyle

There’s nothing random about it. Each hour places a poison on each enemy. That’s as AOE as it gets.

  8. ThegoodmanKyle

His poison debuff is random, not AOE.

  9. Ark

Sam, He is the main reason I can beat scarab king. I have him in a destroy set to add to it.

  10. Sam

Anyone have thoughts on him in Scrab King?

  11. FurnaceRocker

Does anyone know, is his A3 multiplicative or additive? AKA, if he has 200% crit damage already will he do 300% crit damage, or 400%?

  12. Daniel

    Ayumilove

You can not unlock Cycle of of Violence, after I unlock Bring it Down, the mastery stays grey and I can’t unlock any more masteries from that tier, please update/fix it

  13. Exergy

Could Richtoff going first, coupled with Zavia, be a really deadly combo in arena?

  14. Tom Chapman Barros-Wing

I just discovered that Richtoff is tailor-made for Fire Knight, when you use Turn Meter Reduction (Alure, Coldheart, Blind Seer, Rhazin, etc. — though not Maneater, because the waves can steal that unkillable buff and make it last FOREVER with all your Turn Meter reducers …). His kit made no coherent sense to me until I saw that he helps clear the waves with his A1, then loads up poisons with his A2, which stack when Fryo never gets a second turn because you keep reducing his turn meter. By the time you use the A3, you’re dealing a lot of damage. If you can’t keep him down, then the Reduce Max hp on the A1 helps even more, and the fact that the A2 is 3 separate attacks really matters for getting the shield open again.

I always thought he was really random; this is clearly the logic. Or at least part of it.

  15. Tom Chapman Barros-Wing

I reworked my Richtoff based on Ayumilove’s build here, and mine is now kicking butt on the Clan Boss, after being unusable anywhere in the game up till then.

Only question I have now is: Why Sniper? His A2 places the poison debuff unconditionally.

  16. WileyMan

I don’t have Richtoff, but I don’t understand his bad reputation from reading the skills. His skill-set seems tailor-made for dealing mega damage to CB. You could summon a lot worse…I would absolutely build him if I happened to get him.

  17. Hou

Betterment is not a big one and you have no one

  18. Destroyer39

    53 Stars = A Rank

  19. crazy-dentist

I hope dev will put back old A3 spread buff. If you can pair him with hp burn skill champion like juliana/sethalia you can roam perfectly in spider dungeon 15-20. New patch and rework make him even worse. As F2P player, I regret full book him after this new patch released

  20. Ayumilove Post author

@Kellinz: He deals quite a signifcant amount of damage when paired with a Champion who can inflict Poison, Weaken and Decrease Defense! I have added a video showcasing Richtoff the Bold by MurderInc Raid.

  21. Kellinz

What are people’s opinions on Ritchoff since his skill update? I got him just a few days ago and am wondering how much effort I should put into building him.

  22. Ayumilove Post author

@all: Ritchoff the Bold skills have been updated based on Patch 1.14

  23. Touhou-kun

If you don’t want to book him, put him on reflex gear instead

  24. Steven Osborne

OK hes growing on me but the fact they are nerfing his poison to be removable is proper annoying especially as its gona take me a life time to book him -_- Damn Plarium

  25. Touhou-kun

    Agree

  26. Scott

His Bloodletting skill is better than most are giving it credit for, because he’s actually slapping a 5% poison on with EACH HIT (x3), and it’s automatic, doesn’t have a chance to not proc, and it can’t be removed. This might be from the last time he was buffed….but he’s also getting another buff with the next patch.

  27. Touhou-kun

I happen to got him in the early games and still use him until now, he isn’t as bad as people say.. to me at least, he is my first leggos ever, his a2 place 3 poison debuff with 100% chance as long as your ACC is high enough and he can broke the 10th debuff cap of the CB, he can place as much poison as he can but sadly very few people has used him so no one noticed it
Plus, he A3 can spread fear(thought that would help) and usually very high crit damage if you put him in offense related set

  28. Steven Osborne

    richtoff is a joke.

  29. Exeon

This guy shouldn’t be in this Tier at the moment.

He´s quite terrible, and most of his skills are just inferior versions of other legendaries, Vizier has the same spread, but twice the amount of debuffs and possibly adding a veil to himself.

And a skill that applies 1 poison?

This guy is a vault guard at the current state of the game

  30. matthias schuster

    Totally overrated ratings.

  31. LB

Richtoff the hold has no business being in B tier. He has a mismatched kit that does nothing well. His A1 does very little damage and the 10% HP destroy does nothing. His A2 is nice on dungeon bosses or clan boss but it’s his only good skill on a 4 turn CD. His A3 spreads just 1 debuff. Does decent damage but also will not spread a debuff if it lands a kill. He belongs in the bottom tier. Anyone saying to use him in dungoens spent own him. AOE A1 sounds good but it does a fraction of bellowers A1. Like 1/3 the damage.

  32. Exeon

I feel like B rank is pretty generous for this guy, for a legendary his kit is pretty bad overall, his A1 is “okay” but applying only 1 poison and spreading a random debuff?

Many debuffs are applied on all characters, and on clan boss any debuff other then spreading poison makes this guy only refresh a debuff.

So I do wonder about 5 stars on clan boss for a legendary that applies poison less frequently then say a outlaw monk

  33. Alsshadov

That about use destroy set on this champion?

  34. VuVu

Hello, can some one explain to me how this work “Decreases each target’s MAX HP by 10% of the damage dealt”?

  35. GoTo

    Hello,

I think there is a typo: “Copies on random” should be “Copies one random”

  36. Michael

Ayumi, whoever you are – you rock. 🙂
Thank you for this hard work.
