Redcloak Taneko Overview
Redcloak Taneko, a Rare Defense champion from the Shadowkin faction, epitomizes precision and control on the battlefield. With her mastery of stealth and a sickle blade at her command, she disrupts enemy strategies while bolstering her allies. As a specialist in Turn Meter manipulation and buff removal, she excels in scenarios requiring debuff application, accuracy support, and countering enemy buffs. Her unique skill set makes her a versatile addition to teams tackling Hydra, Fire Knight, and Dark Fae.
Taneko’s passive ability to influence the flow of combat begins with her A1, Rapid Sickle, which attacks a single enemy twice, each hit with a chance to steal 5% of their Turn Meter. This seemingly simple move is deceptively powerful, offering consistent Turn Meter control in prolonged battles. The multi-hit mechanic also gives her utility against shielded opponents like the Fire Knight, ensuring she can chip away at barriers while disrupting enemy turns.
Her A2, Whistling Blades, elevates her value in both offense and support. This skill attacks all enemies after placing a 25% Increase Accuracy buff on allies, ensuring their debuffs and crowd-control effects land effectively. The attack also has a 50% chance to reduce enemy Turn Meters by 15%, making it ideal for wave clearing and suppressing dangerous foes. The cooldown reduction at max level enhances its uptime, ensuring teams consistently benefit from the accuracy boost and Turn Meter control, particularly in battles demanding precise debuff placement, like Hydra Clan Boss and Doom Tower.
Taneko’s A3, Tripwire, showcases her utility as a debuffer. By removing a random buff from each enemy and applying a 15% Decrease Speed debuff, she cripples the momentum of buff-reliant enemies. When paired with the Nature’s Bounty blessing, the debuff strengthens to 30%, significantly hindering foes in scenarios like the Hydra Clan Boss and Fire Knight’s Castle. This skill is also a game-changer against buff-heavy waves and bosses, ensuring her team maintains an edge in drawn-out battles.
