Removes all buffs from all enemies. Then has a 75% chance of placing a 30% [Decrease SPD] debuff and a 25% [Weaken] debuff on all enemies for 2 turns.

Relentless Tide (Cooldown: 4 turns)
Has a 75% chance of placing a [Block Passive Skills] debuff and an [Enfeeble] debuff on a target enemy for 2 turns. Also steals all Turn Meter from the target.

Crushing Depths (Passive)
Places a 100% [Ensnare] debuff on the enemy with the lowest Turn Meter for 2 turns at the end of this Champion’s turn. This debuff cannot be resisted. Whenever an enemy has their Turn Meter increased by a skill, also fills this Champion’s Turn Meter by 15%. Occurs once per turn.

Pelagus the Wavewalker Champion Lore Synopsis

Pelagus the Wavewalker was known across the seas as one of the most powerful Tidemasters ever to live. Unlike others of his kind, who usually protected only a single coastline or island, Pelagus extended his watch over an entire archipelago. His devotion to the ocean bordered on obsession, and he treated every act of pollution as a personal insult against the natural world. When Dwarven ships leaked oil into the sea, Pelagus showed no hesitation in destroying them. He sank several vessels despite the danger of retaliation, then carefully gathered the spreading oil by weaving enormous pouches from seagrass to stop further damage to the waters he cherished so deeply.

As his command over the ocean continued to grow, Pelagus experienced a strange calling from the depths. He claimed an ancient spirit of the sea summoned him into the darkest reaches of the ocean, far below where any ordinary being could survive. For eighty eight days, he disappeared into the crushing darkness beneath the waves. Many believed he had perished, but Pelagus eventually returned transformed. The freezing pressure of the abyss no longer harmed him, and his mastery of ocean magic had become vastly stronger. Though his body had adapted to the deep sea, he could still walk upon land and move through shallow waters with ease.

Not long after his return, Pelagus appeared before Polemarch Agameos during a gathering of nobles and declared himself the Tidemaster of all the Argolades. His appearance unsettled many who attended. While his voice carried immense strength beneath the sea, it sounded thin and strained in open air. Even so, he carried himself with calm authority and demanded attention whenever he spoke. Some dismissed his claim as arrogance, while others became fiercely loyal supporters. Pelagus involved himself in politics not out of ambition, but because he believed land dwellers needed close watching. In his eyes, every careless decision made on shore could eventually poison the seas.

Pelagus possessed terrifying hydromantic abilities that allowed him to control the salt water flowing through living creatures. By manipulating those fluids, he could weaken enemies, slow their movements, confuse their minds, or tear them apart from within. Yet despite these fearsome powers, violence was not what interested him most. Pelagus found far greater joy in communicating with the countless forms of sea life that filled the oceans. From enormous whales to tiny krill, he spoke with them as equals and listened carefully to their stories.

Among all the peoples of the world, Pelagus respected the Sylvan the most because he admired their bond with the forest and saw similarities to his own connection with the sea. Still, he believed the oceans were greater, stretching across the entire world while the Mistwood remained only a small part of it. Although he distrusted Dwarven and Shadowkin ships, even the barnacles and worms clinging to their hulls carried tales worth hearing. Travelling whales and dolphins constantly brought him news from distant waters, giving Pelagus knowledge that rivalled the vastness of the oceans themselves, despite the fact that he rarely left his homeland.
