Minaya Review
Minaya is a Legendary Support Force affinity champion from the Banner Lords faction in Raid Shadow Legends. Her dual sword-wielding skills make her a formidable opponent in battle, but what sets her apart is her healing and support abilities. She is often paired with Khoronar, and together they make a powerful duo. This duo reminds me of the beauty and the beast fairytale story, which their character design is inspired from.
Minaya’s kit revolves around supporting and healing her team, always keeping an eye out for the lowest HP ally. Her A1 ability provides a continuous heal, while her A2 offers a base heal of 10,000HP. Additionally, her A3 heals all allies and places a Block Debuffs effect if they are under an Increase DEF buff. Minaya High Resist Tanky Build
Below is a reference of the artifacts equipped on Minaya optimized for Arena, Doom Tower, and Faction Wars content. The important stats prioritized for Minaya are HP%, Defense, Resist, and Speed. Resist is to prevent Minaya from being crowd-controlled (e.g. Stun, Provoke, Freeze, Fear, Sleep) or being locked down (e.g. Block Active Skills, Increase Skill Duration), so she could heal her allies and apply Shield buff promptly. Speed is crucial to enable her to cycle through her skill cooldowns quickly and apply her Continuous Heal buff on allies more quickly to heal allies who are low in health. A decent amount of HP and Defense allows her to sustain in battle much longer against tougher opponents who inflict a devastating amount of damage.
Minaya Champion Lore
Fiercely independent, famously beautiful, and known for her kind heart and bountiful spirit, Minaya is the archetype of the perfect noblewoman according to the romantic ideals of Banner Lord chivalric epics. But as with any historical figure, various facts are selectively brought to the fore or gently omitted as the tale is told, and a person quite different from the real Minaya emerges from the patchwork of legend.
Most tellers of the tale introduce Minaya after describing the fall and Skinwalker curse of Khoronar, and his entrapment within his forsaken forest castle. She is hurt, exhausted, and vulnerable, having escaped an attempt on her life. Few storytellers care to elaborate on what led her to such a fate but some speculate that it was courtly politics, chauvinism, or oppressive traditions that set her to flight. Lords of Kaerok had vied fervently for her hand in marriage, not for the sake of love but for power and influence – and to capture a prize desired by all. But she wished to be guided by love, not politics, and held at bay the countless suitors who came to her with guileful and grasping hearts. Her refusal to compromise turned her admirers’ affections to jilted bitterness and for some, to burning hatred. A certain wicked baron dispatched assassins to end her, and Minaya was driven in desperation into Khoronar’s demesne. Thwarted and enraged, the baron seized her lands, using her prolonged absence as pretext. Despite Minaya’s story being their ideal of romantic love, the lords still pursue loveless political marriages to this day.
In Khoronar’s castle the Skinwalker nurses her back to health, but does not permit her to leave. The lonely and tormented Khoronar, desperate for any Human contact, had the good fortune of coming across a person of exceptional empathy, kindness, and courage both moral and physical. She was not afraid of his monstrous form, and she endured confinement at his hands because she knew what it felt like to live in fear of murderous pursuit. Neither Minaya nor Khoronar wanted either of their respective enemies to endanger the other. In their isolation together they found amity and, sure enough, love, for Khoronar the Skinwalker was much changed in temperament from Khoronar as he was as a heartless Human lord. Minaya pitied him and saw the goodness within him, which bloomed with every passing day they spent together.
But when he became aware of their deepening bond, Khoronar drove Minaya away in fury. He was not yet ready to be redeemed and forgive himself. When she tried to make her way back to her lands and her people, where her duties beckoned, she was attacked again by the baron’s assassins. Later seeing sense, Khoronar rushed to find Minaya and make amends, arriving in time to save her from the ambush. He was gravely wounded, so they retreated to his castle once more, and it was then that they finally confessed their love for each other.
Minaya would have stayed with her love in exile were it not for her loyalty to her subjects. Once Khoronar was healed, Minaya left to attend to her homeland and duties. There she discovered the baron who had tried to kill her had usurped her title, and began a quest to gather support and retake her seat. Khoronar, distraught at her long absence, had a vision of her death in battle. He raced to her ancestral keep and arrived just as Minaya and her loyalists were assaulting the court room she had once called her own. Khoronar was ripping apart the baron’s elite troops when the man fired his crossbow upon him, and Minaya dove into the path of its enchanted bolt, slain by it in Khoronar’s place. The eternal waltz that had weaved back and forth through the lives of Khoronar and Minaya had reached a bloody crescendo.
Every tale tells that this was not Minaya’s end. When Khoronar had slain the evil baron and all his men and finally paused to weep, the Arbiter appeared before him once more, and revived Minaya. The official texts of the Banner Lords say that the Arbiter also restored Khoronar to Human form, and that the two lovers lived happily ever after. Others claim both Minaya and Khoronar live on in Shards, and their tale continues beyond its fabled end.

She soloed Doom tower Normal 70 Nether Spider in semi crappy gear….sure it took like 50 mins…but she did it…I’m gonna have to improver her gear
I’ve been lucky to get Apothecary and Minaya at the same time. I’m new to the game and wondering if they work together and, if so, what artifacts are needed?
Can anyone think of a reason why Minaya’s A1 wouldn’t place a Heal on one of her teammates? The description doesn’t have any qualifiers, and mine often doesn’t.

I would say that Minaya needs at least a 4 Star or even a 5 star on Bommal the Dreadhorn. I am able to solo Bommal doom tower hard 10 with her in a fenzy set only using her A1. Her A1 just keeps putting continuous heals on herself and then the Frenzy set makes her get instant turns when the bombs go off so she’s just always healing with multiple continuous heals on her. Haven’t tried it yet on higher levels than doom tower hard 10.
I like her for Fire Knight (in Shield set), together with Vergis, Zavia, Rhazin & Visix. They are doing well at lvl 20. Not very fast but they do the job.
Thanks for the advice I will continue trying to get those hero’s in my roster I might have to break down and buy a void pack or two see if I can get lucky like will. My current rooster is minaya, scyl of the drakes, lord champfort, occult brawler and vergis. Does it make a difference in the order they are placed ? I’ve been going through all kinds of posts and not finding what I’m looking for in that regard. Thanks for your input advice and time

@Rooks Warrior – pair her with any champion that is fast and boosts defense. If she goes second, she will block debuffs as well as shield with her Beauty’s Allure. Explore options like Speed Gear maybe. Without Khoronar, her dying is ok if you have a reviver, since she boosts turn meters when she goes.
Doomscreech is a good rare option to pair her with. Him in 1 Immortal gear would be great since his main attack damage is increased by his HP. Plop on a couple Speed sets to go with and he should increase your whole team’s number of turns with his A2.
You can fuse Broadmaw in a couple of weeks with some focus and he’d help round out the team with increased Crit Rate and revival of 2 Champs.

I put all immortal on her as I had not seen your page before hand, that being said she is a powerful hero and is always the last to die, that being said the rest of my team is weak and I’ve none of the hero’s you all talk about. Is there any hero’s that she Synergize is with better ? And should I change up her gear to follow your plan ?
Minaya was my first Legendary. After reading skills, I went to see who Khoronar was, proceeded to buy two void packs totalling 9 crystals and got Khoronar as my second Legendary on the last crystal. Never been happier to pull a legendary hero/s.
I use her and Khoronar in almost every battle right now. I have other champs leveling that will be better for specific uses eventually, but even with only their first level of masteries maxed out, they are a force to be reckoned with. I threw a toxic set on Khoronar so he has a decent chance to poison every enemy twice with every counterattack he gets. And I boosted her healing so she does almost 11k with Mending Ways so far. Following that up with Beauty’s Allure more than meets my champions max HP to shield those that need it most.
She should be ranked higher for Fire Knight. She has a dependable Heal Reduction w/ being booked, and a Block Debuffs which stops his Decrease Speed debuff. I think she is more important than Fellhammer if he isn’t booked.
@Sara Lazenby healing to full and dropping shields is literally her opening move if you build her fast. Have her go second to a increase defense champ and that same opening move also puts block debuffs for two turns on. So very, very strong in arena and anywhere you eat debuffs and need shielding.
Don’t understand taking the Boost Shields When Ally Low HP mastery – she only gives heals to allies who are at 100% and thus this will never trigger.

@EriK: Minaya is there to support the team through Heal, Shield and Increase Defense buff and Block Debuff buff (to avoid getting Poisons from Spiderlings) instead of Heal Reduction. Also, there is a Spider’s Den page at https://ayumilove.net/raid-shadow-legends-champion-ranking-in-spiders-den/ that lists all the Spider’s Boss skills and one of it indicates that the boss is Immune to Heal Reduction.

Have a question about her being so awesome in the Spiders den.
Figured it must be her 100% heal red. Upted her Acc to 200+ to try to get it on to the spider but it didn’t work (surprise as I read one of spiders P skills make her immune to heal red……….) how can she be 5* on spider if not for heal reduction???

@Ahbok: Resist is much more important for Minaya as a Support Role champion, so she can survive longer while avoiding any debuff inflicted on her. If she is not suppressed with Crowd Control debuff, she can constantly Heal her allies. This is especially true in quick paced battle such as Arena.
Why resist banner? Doesnt she needs acc for her A2?
@Ragnar Geary: If your team is dying before 3~4 minutes into the battle, it is highly likely your team is not defensively strong enough to survive in battle. This could probably be gearing issue in your team such as having less than 3K defense and less than 30K HP. If your team is dying before 5~6 minutes into the battle, it could mean that your team/champion skill synergy is not working as efficient/effectively as possible.
To deal damage over 20M against Clan Boss Easy/Normal/Hard as a Speed meta team, you will need the following skills:
1. 50% Decrease Attack = Allows you to receive lesser damage from enemies.
2. 60% Decrease Defense, 25% Weaken = Allows you to inflict more damage to Clan Boss.
3. 60% Increase Defense = Allows you to receive lesser damage from enemies.
4. 5% Poison = Each poison tick deals 20~50K damage depending on Clan Boss difficulty.
5. 50% Ally Protection = To allow powerful attack but squishy champions to survive longer in battle.
6. 30% Increase Speed, Increase Turn Meter = To overtake Clan Boss, to do more damage.
I would recommend replace Lyssandra/Coldheart with someone else. The lead champion will be always hit with A1 Stun from Clan Boss. Having Lyssandra stunned means her A3 Energize skill will not lose 1 cooldown upon reaching her turn. As a result, all of your team will go slower since it takes even longer for the skill to recover from cooldown. If you could provide a screenshot of your champions you currently have as a link in this comment, I could advise on the champions that can help boost your Clan Boss damage over 20M damage. If possible, display the equipment used and stats, so its easier to analyze and identify ways to improve the damage.

Was wondering if you might be able to offer some CB advice. I’m currently running lyssandra as leader, Vrask as my healer, Septimus, Aothar and julianna as dps. All five fully mastered.
I really wanna switch stuff up cause i can’t pass the brutal 14m per key barrier. Just got Minaya and wondering if i could switch out lyss and vrask for her and another dmg dealer, possibly coldheart. Otherwise a debuffer of some sort. Got a few legs and epics to choose from, just not sure what to go with. Any good pointers?
