Maddak Eyes of Skyiron Overview

Maddak Eyes of Skyrion is an Epic Attack champion whose identity blends discipline, invention, and disruption. A stout Dwarf clad in fur-lined armor and ornate plating, he wields a prototype blasting rod entrusted to him by Supreme Engineer Hurndig, a symbol of both loyalty and responsibility. Known as a Sunseeker, Maddak roams the surface world with precision and purpose, dismantling enemy advantages through buff denial and debuff spreading. His importance has grown even further with the arrival of Yukimasa, Demon of Ice, the 2025 Christmas Fusion, as Maddak serves as one of the key components required to claim that fearsome Shadowkin warrior.

His kit revolves around layered disruption. Beast Feller (A3) delivers three strikes that can inflict Block Buffs, shut down active skills, and spread existing debuffs, making him a destabilizer against clustered enemies. Scattershot Barrage (A2) adds further control by stripping or stealing buffs, punishing teams that rely on protective layers. Even Portable Cannonade (A1) carries tactical value, transferring debuffs from Maddak to his target, allowing him to cleanse himself while burdening opponents. This combination makes him particularly effective in wave-based content and Hydra rotations, where spreading control effects can snowball into victory.

Maddak’s passive, Eyes of a Sunseeker, is best understood as a counter-tech mechanic. By dealing extra damage to foes with lower Accuracy, he rewards builds that invest heavily in ACC, turning it into both a control stat and a damage amplifier. While this doesn’t elevate him into a primary damage dealer, it does give him an edge against opponents who neglect Accuracy. His aura, boosting ally Attack in Faction Wars, further reinforces his supportive role, enabling stronger allies to capitalize on the openings he creates.

Relic choices can sharpen Maddak’s disruptive edge. Irethi Coronet synergizes well with his kit, as each placed debuff fuels stacking damage, allowing him to scale in prolonged fights where his control effects are repeatedly applied. Malefic Talon, while less specialized, offers a clean critical damage boost that pairs with his multi-hit attacks, giving him occasional bursts when his disruption alone isn’t enough. Players should prioritize relics that enhance Accuracy, Speed, and survivability over raw damage, ensuring Maddak consistently lands his debuffs and survives long enough to spread them. In practice, Maddak is a specialist rather than a cornerstone: a champion who thrives in Hydra, Magic Keep, and dungeon waves, but struggles in Demon Lord and Chimera Clan Boss, Arena, and Hard dungeons. He is best viewed as a precise tool, an enabler who turns control into opportunity and chaos into advantage.

Maddak Eyes of Skyiron Champion Lore Synopsis

Maddak is a Dwarf known among his people as a Sunseeker, a rare sort willing to leave the safety of the Skyiron Dominion and roam the surface world. While many Dwarves view Sunseekers with doubt, seeing them as strange wanderers, Maddak has earned a different reputation. He serves the Grand Council and, more closely, Supreme Engineer Hurndig, often carrying out tasks that are better left unspoken. Hurndig speaks of him as a man who knows when to move quietly and when to strike with force, a balance that makes Maddak valuable in matters where care and boldness must exist side by side.

Unlike other Sunseekers who embrace a loose and reckless life, Maddak approaches his work with focus and discipline. He stands in clear contrast to Dilgol, another surface roaming Dwarf with whom he shares a long and tense rivalry. Where Dilgol thrives on flair and risk, Maddak relies on patience, planning, and steady resolve. His official duty is to gather information on the great powers of the surface realms, watching their movements and intentions. Beyond that role, he also searches for rare substances and tests experimental ideas for Hurndig, pushing them through harsh trials in wild and unforgiving places.

The strongest sign of trust between Maddak and Hurndig is the blasting rod, a powerful firearm created in secret. Its design draws from shared weapon knowledge that Hurndig acquired only after careful negotiation and many promises. When the prototype was complete, Hurndig placed it in Maddak’s hands as both reward and responsibility. Maddak was expected to use it in real conditions and report back on its limits. From that moment, the weapon became more than a tool, it became a measure of their shared ambition and reliance.

Over time, Maddak shaped his tactics around the strange nature of the blasting rod. He learned how to push its power beyond necessity, creating flashes and thunderous noise meant to unsettle enemies before the fight truly began. He understands how sound moves through valleys, forests, and stone, using echoes to confuse those who hunt him. By making a single shot seem distant or nearby, he bends perception to his advantage and keeps his targets guessing.

Maddak’s skill lies in blending experience with invention. He adapts to storms, cliffs, and ruins with ease, often turning the land itself into a weapon by causing collapses or avalanches. Many foes who thought themselves secure have fallen due to his careful timing and sharp judgement. Now, his attention has turned to the Gloom Lands, a dark and distant region few have explored. Whether or not approval is granted, Maddak feels the pull of that shadowed wilderness and is already preparing to answer it.
