Krisk the Ageless Review
Krisk the Ageless is a Legendary Defense Void affinity champion from Lizardmen faction in Raid Shadow Legends. Krisk the Ageless was released in Patch 1.11 on November 2019. He is one of the best champions in Raid Shadow Legends as he provides the essential buffs and debuffs that are viable for all content in the game!
Krisk’s Might of Ages is a unique passive skill that applies Decrease Defense and Decrease Attack debuff simultaneously on enemies whenever they attack him. This is extremely powerful against both Attack and Defense Type champions as it reduces their damage output inflicted on him and his allies significantly! Apart from that, Krisk’s Centuried Vigor skill applies Ally Protection buff to protect squishy allies while increasing all of their buffs duration. This allows him to be an excellent team protector in speed tuned team such as Super Tanky Clan Boss Team! He is also viable in crowd controlling enemies by provoking them using his Invincible Shell skill. This skill also concurrently administer Increase Speed buff to allies too, so they can cycle through their skill cooldown at a quicker pace! Krisk’s default skill Enter the Morass is an AoE attack that inflicts Decrease Speed debuff, which is another powerful crowd controll skill to slow down enemies and provide some breathing room for your champions to recuperate.
In conclusion, Krisk the Ageless is a very versatile champion and you can optimize him either in Arena Nuker Build as an AoE Damage Dealer, Arena Shield Build as a Team Protector, Tanky Clan Boss Build or an All-Rounder Build for all content. If you are still contemplating whether to 6 star him first, then I highly recommend just doing it! He can carry your team easily from the early-mid-late game and is able to solo Nightmare Campaign and Dungeons when geared accordingly!

Krisk the Ageless All-Rounder Build
Here is Krisk the Ageless artifacts and masteries by Ayumilove optimized for Super Tanky Clan Boss build, end-game build for clearing Doom Tower Floors (Hard Difficulty), Faction Wars, and Dungeons. Krisk is equipped with Perception Set to provide him with an ample amount of Accuracy stats, so he can successfully inflict his debuffs on enemies. The stats to prioritize on Krisk are Health, Defense, Speed, and Accuracy for Clan Boss. For end-game content such as Doom Tower, the stats to focus on are Speed, Accuracy, Resist and Health with a decent amount of Defense to tank the damage from Ally Protection. Critical Damage stat is should be low as having a high amount of it increases the damage intake from Ally Protection due to the game mechanics coded in the game. If you are building him for end-game content, you will need at least 400 Resist stat to resist enemy debuff and minimum 350 Accuracy to crowd control enemies in Doom Tower Hard. 50K Health (HP) and 3K Defense (DEF) are the minima you will need for Krisk. Otherwise, he will be knock-out fairly easily from the damage intake from the Ally Protection buff.
Krisk the Ageless Arena Nuker Build
Here is Krisk the Ageless’s artifacts and masteries by MacChan optimized as an Arena Nuker for this Arena Build. Krisk is equipped in Savage Set to ignore 25% of enemies’ defense, which allows him to deal more damage to tanky opponents. The stats prioritized on Krisk are Defense, Critical Rate, and Critical Damage with a decent amount of Speed and Accuracy. It’s recommended to have Defense Nuker with 5K~6K Defense, 100% Critical Rate, and 200%~300% Critical Damage so that Krisk is able to output a high amount of damage to all enemies with his AoE attacks, while 225~250 Accuracy for him to apply his debuffs on enemies successfully for Faction Wars and Dungeons content.
Krisk the Ageless Arena Shield Build
Here is Krisk the Ageless’s artifacts and masteries by MacChan optimized as an Arena Shield Team Protector for this Arena Build. Krisk is equipped in Shield Set to provide AoE Shield Buff to all allies based on 30% of his MAX HP, and Immortal Set to provide an additional +15% HP to generate a bigger shield from his Shield Set and Shield passive skill! The stats prioritize on Krisk are Health, Speed, and Defense with a fair amount of Accuracy to inflict debuff on enemies. It’s recommended to have Krisk with 80K~100K Health, 220~260 Speed, 3K~4K Defense to tank the damage and be able to crowd control the enemies quickly.
Krisk the Ageless Clan Boss Build
Here is Krisk the Ageless’s artifacts and masteries by Pavo optimized as a Clan Boss Team Protector for his Clan Boss Build (Pavo’s Lydia and Krisk). Krisk is equipped in Stalwart Set to reduce the damage intake from Clan Boss AoE attack by 30% while Perception Set is to provide him an additional 40 Accuracy so he could apply his debuffs. The stats prioritize on Krisk are Health, Defense, Critical Rate, Accuracy and Speed. The speed stat depends on the speed tuning of the Clan Boss team. In this case, it’s 238 for this Clan Boss build! It’s recommended to have Krisk with 50K~60K Health, 3K~4K Defense to tank the damage and at least 225 Accuracy for Ultra Nightmare Clan Boss.
Krisk the Ageless Storyline
Once, a long time ago, Lizardmen ruled much of Teleria’s eastern continent. An ancient and proud race, they called themselves Dragonkin in honor of the Great Dragon whom they venerated as their chief deity. Dazzling temples of brass and limestone pierced the sky, wise priests directed their kin to further the empire’s greatness from these magnificent palaces. It fell to the mightiest Dragonkin warriors to defend the priests and the temples of their god. That was Krisk’s duty as well. As a sentinel of the Great Dragon Shrine, he oversaw the rituals and divinations that took place there, carried out the will of the priests, and helped them tend to the arcane vortex that was suspended in the very heart of the temple. When the wars raged and the nomads invaded, Krisk fought with every ounce of skill and might he had within. But even that could not be enough when everything else was lost and his people’s greatness crumbled to dust. Grievously wounded, Krisk was cast down and could only observe as the Shrine shattered beneath the shockwave of a great explosion when the foolish humans untangled the Vortex. Many had died on both sides then, and untold magical storms were unleashed upon the land. But Krisk survived through that ordeal. Though his temple was gone and his people descended further into primitive savagery by the generation, he had sworn an oath to defend what was left of the shrine. And so Krisk the Ageless determined he would stand vigil unto the end of time, for the magical storm that he weathered had filled him with power and vitality, increasing his naturally long lifespan beyond what many thought was possible. It was only when the Shadow came that Krisk’s oath was broken. Though many of his kin hailed the dragon unleashed by Mortu-Macaab as their god, Krisk knew that was falsehood and lies. He fought the servants of Siroth that came to claim the Shrine, bringing all of his experience and supernatural might to bear, sundering chitin shields and breaking horned skulls by the score. When the Arbiter’s chosen arrived, he realized that it had to be providence directing them, and thus extended his protection to the brave warriors in Lumaya’s service. They fought side by side, with Krisk the Ageless marching forth in front of his allies, deflecting spell and weapon alike with his enchanted armor. And when the battle was done, he had sworn his soul and his mace to the Arbiter. For he knew the desecration of the Shrine was only the beginning. If his people were not saved from the lies of the false dragon god, they would fall into darkness and slavery, a fate far worse than even their current half-savage existence.

The game is coded so Passives hits in the order the champs are, first the leader, then #2, #3, #4, ¤5,#6.
If your Krisk are set as the leader, his passive is the first to activate.

if used along with brogni or geomancer, does his passive work before theirs or after? I want to know since his decrease def is only for 1 turn, when brogni’s passive activates, will there be decrease def already or not.

@MassiveBeard: The mastery for Arena, Faction and Campaign is build optimized to cater against mobs instead of boss enemies, especially in Classic Arena and Tag Team Arena (Gold and Platinum Tier). If you do have sufficient champions to handle the Dungeon and Clan Boss, then I would recommend with the Clan Boss and Dungeons mastery for Krisk.
For Campaign Farming, I would pick up a speed farmer (e.g. Bellower, AoE A1 champion) to deal with it instead of Krisk. If you are using Krisk to 3 Star Nightmare, then the masteries from Arena/Faction/Campaign can easily handle them too. A highly resistant Krisk (+300 Resist) will be an easy win against PvE areas. If you are strugling with Faction Wars, Krisk will be a great help there since there aren’t many decent Lizardmen champions.
@Ayumilove would you say that the Arena/Faction/Campaign build is more optimized for Arena than anything else? I’m trying to decide on a mastery build that would be the best for the most areas. I’m mainly interested in campaign, dungeons and faction wars. Clan boss isn’t as important to me, and while I enjoy arena, I’m a gold tier player only so i think either would do. What do you think? Go for the Dungeon/CB build based on my needs?
I prioritized hp and Def, speed is ok but still boss and op if I team him with ca with his provoke!

Krisk casts 30% decrease speed debuff and not 30% speed up buff. To be corrected.
This is my first comment I’ve made on this insanely helpful site because I want people to realize just how much of a game changer Krisk can be.
Krisk is an easy 5 star in Fire Knight. He alone is the reason I can have a 100% success fk20 run at 2 minutes based simply on the provokes he puts out. He was my spider20 tank before I was able to auto 19 seconds without him and he’s crucial in Ice golem as well. 40 second Dragon 20 with Krisk, Seer, Bad El, Renegade (in shield set) and Dracomorph.
I’d say Krisk is single handedly the best champ in the game, and can be used virtually everywhere. I use him in every NM and UNM setup I have, I’m not speed tuned or unkillable and I can consistently 35M UNM and 100% success 1 keying NM..
For Void/Spirit/Magic I run Altan lead with Valk, Vizier, Krisk and Draco. If affinity changes to Force i swap Altan with Sepulcher and Draco with Bad El.
At this point I’m going to try changing my Krisk build for Arena, I’ve never been one to try making my own build because of the amount of gems/silver it’s going to cost to test several variations but I’m going to make an attempt at putting together something fun for arena.
Anyways post dragged out a bit but hopefully this helps some of you and puts into perspective just how strong Krisk is.

Krisk actually requires 14 legendary tomes to fully book, not 11.
@Shaaw: I just did the test: his passive shield stack up with the shield(s), at least the ones of the other champions. At the beginning of the turn, the “gear” shields are up, then Krisk does his Might of Ages and increase the value of the shield (I did it with a lvl46 non geared Krisk to make sure his shield was actually coming on top and not replacing the others).

I don’t have a Krisk to test this, but if you put him in a shield set, does his passive shield stack with the shield set shield or do they wipe each other out?
Alternatively, does his passive wipe out another champs shield from shield set equipped on them?

Krisk is amazing for Fire Knight and it has nothing to do with whether or not he has any 2 hit abilities. His ally protect soaks the aoe hits from the boss. He has a speed debuff and boost which is huge for FK. Krisk is honestly 5 stars everywhere in the game.

I am curious why you chose 4 star for Spider. He provides a shield that is 50% of his max life to all his team members and his attacks are all AOE and he has a powerful provoke allowing you to keep paper tigers alive while he soaks up all the damage. His tool kit seems perfect for spider. However I have only got to spider 18 so there may be something I am missing.
@Derek: Krisk the Ageless is a flexible champion. His A1 is an AoE (Area of Effect) attack. Gearing him up with Stun Set and having Harvest Despair to tag along with him allows Krisk to Stun multiple enemies regardless of their Resist stats and inflict a Leech debuff to the enemies. As a result, your Arena champions can heal 10% out of the damage they inflicted while the enemies are stunned. Merry Christmas to you too 🙂
Wondering why you’d run “Harvest Despair” on him? He doesn’t have a stun, sleep or freeze debuff, so is there something hidden that counts under this mastery? Otherwise it would be a wasted slot right? I’m just curious as to why if you wouldn’t mind explaining. Merry Christmas!

Wondering why Krisk is only 3 star for clan boss? I have Krisk and he is god mode for clan boss.
He does attack down (50%), defense down(60%), team speed boost (30%), Ally protection (50%) and Buff extension on 3 turn cool-down (booked) and he is defense based hero with the second highest base defense in the game.
