Ishiyama The Immovable Overview
In the shadowed depths of Raid Shadow Legends, Ishiyama The Immovable emerges as a warrior forged in fire and resilience. Introduced to the game in May 2025 through the Champion Fragment Fusion event, he quickly cements his place among the pantheon of legends. Once engulfed in flames by the merciless Fire Knight, Fyro, Ishiyama rose from the inferno reborn, stronger than ever. Clad in armor imbued with the unyielding strength of his ancestors, he stands as an indomitable force on the battlefield. What sets him apart is not only his fiery chain flail but also his unique ability to grow more powerful through adversity. As debuffs accumulate on enemies, so too does his might, making him both a relentless attacker and a stalwart defender. His presence commands awe, transforming every skirmish into a spectacle of calculated destruction, leaving players eager to harness his prowess in their ranks.
Strategically, Ishiyama thrives in scenarios where debuffs can dictate the flow of battle. His AoE skill, Calculated Volley, serves as both a crowd-control tool and a means to weaken foes systematically. By inflicting Fear, reducing Critical Damage, and lowering Critical Rate, he disrupts enemy strategies while safeguarding his team. These effects become irresistible when applied to enemies already burdened by multiple debuffs, ensuring Ishiyama’s dominance escalates as the fight progresses. Furthermore, his passive ability, The Immovable, amplifies his survivability and damage output, granting him additional MAX HP for each debuff he applies, a mechanic that makes prolonged engagements increasingly favorable for him. If an enemy resists one of his debuffs, Ishiyama retaliates by placing another unresistible debuff, maintaining pressure without relent. This adaptability ensures he remains effective even against foes designed to counter such tactics.
Ishiyama’s true prowess shines brightest with his single-target skill, Finish Them, which ignores significant portions of an enemy’s defense up to 50% if they carry two or more debuffs. This precision strike not only deals devastating damage but also rewards him with self-protection in the form of Block Damage upon eliminating a target. Such utility proves invaluable in high-stakes arenas and boss battles, where mitigating incoming damage often tips the scales in favor of victory. Meanwhile, his basic attack, Burning Comet, reflects random debuffs back onto enemies and allows counterattacks when Ishiyama himself is debuffed, turning attempts to cripple him into opportunities for retaliation. With these skills combined, Ishiyama excels in faction-specific content like Hard Mode Faction Wars and Cursed City, carving out a niche as a versatile champion capable of controlling the battlefield while delivering punishing blows.

Ishiyama The Immovable Champion Lore Synopsis
For generations before the Second Great War, the land of Teleria suffered relentless attacks from Siroth’s forces. The Dawnlands were hit hardest, especially the region of Yakai, where the people desperately built walls and forts in a bid to protect their homes. Despite these defences, many towns and cities fell to the Demonspawn, their mortal servants, and the Undead that rose after every battle. Among the few places that never fell was Nankofura, a once-small stronghold perched on a steep hill. As waves of refugees poured in, its walls expanded and the city grew stronger, eventually becoming a symbol of survival amid chaos.
A decade before the war’s full outbreak, a young man named Ishiyama rose to power. Known later as ‘the Immovable’, he earned this title through his skill in withstanding sieges. Having already defeated multiple invading armies with clever tactics, Ishiyama wasted no time in strengthening Nankofura further. He ordered more towers and trenches to be built and introduced strict weekly training for every able person in the city. Citizens were prepared to serve in combat, as medics, or as runners to transport supplies where needed during attacks. His early preparations helped shape Nankofura into a fortress unlike any other.
As the war raged on, Ishiyama aged into a stern and seasoned leader. Known for his fairness but also for his severity, he demanded discipline and gave no room for error, even punishing his own son for a costly battlefield mistake. His mastery of defence involved not just strong walls but also clever traps and ambushes. He used tunnels to send soldiers behind enemy lines, cutting them off from supplies and reinforcements. Repeatedly, the Demonspawn were lured into thinking they had won, only to be crushed by a sudden strike from within and behind.
Despite all his planning, Ishiyama understood that no strategy was perfect. One early failure taught him the danger of relying on a single weapon or leader. In that siege, a trebuchet’s lucky strike destroyed the only catapult able to ignite a defensive ring of oil, nearly compromising the entire plan. From then on, he built layers of backup into every defence, making sure no single point of failure could break his city’s resistance. His brilliance on the battlefield was matched by his strength as a warrior, wielding the fiery Burning Comet to break enemy lines with devastating blows.
As the war drew to a close, Ishiyama grew bitter. He had defended Nankofura, but help from other regions had rarely arrived when needed, leading to many avoidable losses. His daughter Tsuru inherited this resentment. After receiving a sacred Shard from the Arbiter, Ishiyama passed on leadership to her. But when other cities in Yakai later begged Tsuru for aid, she turned them away in anger. Her cold refusals allowed Lady Mikage to advance unchecked, and soon, the Dawnlands fell into her hands.

@NekoGekko: If you’re focusing on building Ishiyama the Immovable as a pure damage dealer, accuracy isn’t essential. However, incorporating some accuracy can improve the consistency of applying debuffs if you’re using him as both a crowd controller and damage dealer, especially when you don’t have enough gear to maximize his damage output.
Is there actually need for accuracy on this guy, because the conditionals will guarantee debuffs in nearly all situations?
