Lazarou – LOL ‘You’re my wife now.’

When you need an UH Reviver but your shard luck doesn’t grant Gorgorab or Siphi – Grinner is there for you, I guess?

  3. Slayer

YEEEESSSS, it worked. My update for you guys is that the two Grinners finally got me my other two stars in FW at the top level. The problem for me was not having any revivers other than a C class Grinner with an occasional revive, finish with one death and you lose. You have to have all the team alive to collect all three stars. The one Grinner got me to level 21 and one star but no further even after many attempts. So landing another Grinner from shards (very easy to do) I also got him fully booked, masteried and level 60. Put them both in this morning and BANG – got the other two stars 😀 So the Undead Hoards FW is now fully complete thanks to the rather understated GRINNER.

In case you are interested, the rest of the team are UDK, Seeker (in relentless making him a total animal) and Dark Athel. Now that particular FW is also fully complete thanks to the two Grinners.

Madame Yes made my day about the “poster boy for the American Dental Association” comment.
I just got a ★★★✰✰ blessing for him so I’m quite happy because he looks promising for my Undead Hordes, which needs him like fire needs air.
I saw in another famous website the suggested blessing is Carapace but I’m not sure it’s my best option… I’d rather go with Miracle Heal or Survival Instinct.
I dressed this guy with an Immortal set and a Bolster full set which, compared to Shield heals this guy per turn, which should be a perfect choice if paired with a ★★★✰✰ Survival Instinct can fill his Turn meter by a total 12% {5+7} and give him 1500 points of additional Health which is not bad at all. What do you think? I’ll let you know what happens… I still have him fresh from a shader.

    Very usefull 👍

Ok, I promised feedback. He got me through to the top level 21. Nice, as I was stuck because I could not revive dead champs to complete it. Now he helped me finish it. I have him fully booked and fully mastered and at level 60. Only way to have a Rare if you want to use one. I now have a second one so might raise him too. I got to level 21 but only 1 star, so I think with another Grinner I might be able to get the 3 stars to complete that. It is the time waiting for the cooldown to finish that is annoying whilst another champ dies as he only revives one ata a time. So maybe with two of them I can get the 3 stars?

How u can’t see him in spider’s den team? He is my leader of this team!

  8. Dargentina

The nice thing about this guy, is that the shield from A3 is based on the target’s HP, he doesn’t heals, and he doesn’t applies debuffs, so you can actually build him for some damage (instead of going all-out def/hp) since his multipliers aren’t that bad.

  9. Slayer

I have used this guy as food several times now as I just assumed he was a bit weak. However, I have finally realised he is the only reviver I have in the Undead Hordes. I guess I better get him up to being useful as I have become stuck in the Crypt in FW without a reviver – sigh – still, better late than never I suppose.

So, no gear on him yet but did push him through to level 5 naked and ascended. Better put some clothes on him if I want to take him further, here goes. I will see how he gets on and if he can keep my team more alive in FW to progress that a bit more. I will let you know what I think of him later.

First time commenter here! I just pulled this badass dude just a short while ago & not to sound melodramatic here, but in all honesty when i looked over Grinner’s abilities, I really thot i had pulled an Epic! Ok, his A2 AoE attack does have an initial 5-turn cooldown but is bookable down to 3, has an excellent Damage Multiplier of 4.2, and when fully booked has a a 50% chance of removing 1 random buff from each target which is truly awesome! And his A3 (revive an ally with 50% HP) is bookable down to 4 which is incredible: as reshef comments below, no other rares OR epics can revive on such a short cooldown. And the fact that Grinner’s affinity is also Force is a definite added bonus.

At any rate, I’ve gone ahead & equipped this undead poster boy for the American Dental Association out in Speed & Shield sets (1 each), with HP and DEF as the primary stats for the latter as Grinner is support. I then had him do multiple solo runs of Stage 6 of the Sewers of Arnoc on Normal & he completely tore it apart. Will update on how he fares on tougher stuff later on but (just like Dickens), I have great expectations

Wow…110 speed with 4 turn cd on a rare, didn t realise he´s that good, A1 and A2 are useful too. Using him early for factionwars and was in his way better than most epics in the team.
He´s the best rare Undead Horde champion for fw in my opinion.

@Joshua Ng: Yeah, you can replace Grinner with Gorgorab as he is a better revive support champion. However, if you do not have many Epic Skill Tomes to upgrade Gorgorab skills to unleash his full potential, then you can use Grinner to help support your team.

  13. Joshua ng

I got Gorgorap, should i keep this cham or food?

  14. Aldreyus

Is his “has 25% to add atk to all allies” broke? He only ever has a 25% chance to randomly picks one person for me after ascending…

  15. TheTodmeister

Why is he geared like an offensive champion? Since he’s mainly bringing buff, debuff and revive to the table shouldn’t he be built with HP/DEF to like, outlast the rest of the team?

  16. Steve

It’s a stronger and a cheaper shaman: so, he is very usefull in arena.
It should be, at least, a level b champion.

  17. QueOuel

Hello I believe that you have his Spirit Keep and Magic Keep scores flipped, since of his affinity and buff removal. Thanks for all the work.

  18. reshef

He’s one of the few champions with a revive on a cooldown shorter than 5 turns (his is bookable down to 4).

No other rares OR epics can revive on such a short cooldown, and only a few legendaries share or beat the CD.

He shares this CD with the legendaries: Maulie, and Duchess (both of which require multiple legendary books to get to the 4 turn cooldown he can have).

The void legendary Raglin has the shortest CD revive in the game bookable down to 2 turns, which again requires legendary book(s).

  19. pewpewpew

I mean, he’s basically a better AND cheaper Shaman, right?

  20. Snugboat

His A1 actually has a 25% chance to place a 50% increase attack buff on each ally, which means he almost always places at least one buff. The description is innacurate in-game, so I thought I’d let people who are considering building him know.

I’m not sure if this makes him better or worse than expected. Getting the buff on another support is annoying, but it’s nice that it’s almost always doing something.
