I’m pretty sure we’ve all had an amazing experience with this Champ, both for Doom Tower, Campaign, or just dealing with waves before Dragon. I don’t see any reason why he shouldn’t get 5 stars in Campaign. I’m f2p and only have a handfull of lvl 50s, but boy does this furry guy come in handy.

‘m using him to level up champions to increase my other champions’ rank. It’s my first time “farming” experience for champions so that I can increase other champions’ ranks. I like Graybeard because he’s got a lot of health, which means he can take a beating even after my other three champions have immediately fallen. His multi-target ice-stomp skill can 1-shot a wave of opponents, and his counter-attack shield skill can also nearly single-handedly solo a wave of opponents, 1 on 4. I just looked up Graybeard on some other websites and apparently people think poorly of him… However, I’ve played a lot of games, and my intuition tells me that Graybeard’s kit is perfect for soloing content (it’s soloing since his three allies he’s boosting immediately die)

This guy got me through nightmare campaing stage 9 where there are 3-4 valkries at the enemy team. I dont have a buff remove or blocking champion so I built him to 50 lvl, not even a 60. he provoked all of them and I got through the stages. Brilliant carry champ for NM campaign and dungeon waves.

There isn’t much activity on this champion. I have been playing for 6 months and i’m now starting to try and master Faction Wars. I just finished running this guy to fill in a 5th slot to obtain 3 stars and he blow through the first 6 like a champ with no gear on. If you study his utility his A1 has a 60% chance when booked to provoke which is insane for an Rare Champion. His A2 when booked on a 3 turn cool down and 40% chance to land freeze AOE is crazy high for an Rare. And if that doesn’t sound good enough, his A3 when booked will put Conterattack on him for 2 turns with a shield on a 4 turn cool down. This champion is very good for early on progression and very good for faction wars. I think he goes unnoticed.

    How about mastering accuracy??

@Micky88: When you invest 800 gems into a champion’s mastery, you get all of the levels (from top and bottom). However, you do need to level up and ascend the champion to 6 Star to unlock all the masteries before you can select the mastery to be used.

  7. Micky88

In the mastery section, it says if I put 800 gems into a charchters masteries, then they will receive all of the listed masteries.

Is this just for one level or for all of them (from top to bottom)?

@Dan Kitzler: AoE refers to Area of Effect. The ability to attack all enemies within the battle field.

  9. Dan Kitzler

    What is AoE?

@Warguy: Graybeard mastery guide and equipment guide are now available! It will take some time for me to cover all 400 champions in this game to provide guide for each champion.

I just got this guy (I’m a noob starting out), it seems to be better than the other defense toon I have, a dwarf, Honor Guard. He has an AOE ice skill which is very nice, synergizes very well with divine blades from Athel. His AOE attack depends on his defense, while his regular attack depends on ATK. So I decided to put 2 DEF sets on him and 1 ATK.

  14. Chambers

Can we have masteries and equipment please 🙂 I’m using it for faction crypts

  15. Warguy

Why is there no mastery layout or equipment layout guide when it says it has a mastery guide

  16. Ivonne

Hello, what will be the better artifact to this champion?
