Granyt Doorkeep Overview
Granyt Doorkeep crashes into Raid Shadow Legends as the September 2025 Champion Fusion, and his appearance alone speaks of raw, unshakable power. His slate-blue skin is carved with glowing green runes, while jagged fragments of stone float above his head like a crown of the mountain’s blessing. A long-braided beard frames his face, and his dwarven armor is laden with chains, gears, and symbols that make him look like a living fortress. Born of stone and shaped by ancient magic, Granyt emerges not as a humble gatekeeper but as a breaker of defenses and protector of allies. To summon him, players must first fuse four copies of Hilda Arnorndottr, the fiery heir of Hrothglime, who herself is earned by fusing four copies of Gladewulf, the spectral warden of the Mistwood. This layered fusion path weaves the strength of rare and epic champions into Granyt’s creation, making him the pinnacle reward of one of the most ambitious fusion events to date.
What sets Granyt apart is the way his kit punishes both defensive and aggressive strategies. His passive, Stonefaced, cleanses him of nearly every control debuff at the start of his turn, letting him laugh off freezes, fears, and provokes that would normally stop a champion cold. On top of this, his damage increases against buffless enemies, making him a relentless force in fights where bosses or waves are stripped of their protection. With this foundation, he becomes a dependable anchor in both Arena and PvE, shrugging off control while hammering through defenses.
The centerpiece of his kit is Demolisher Blow (A3), a devastating strike that removes his own debuffs, empowers his allies with Shatter and Increase Critical Damage, and ignores Unkillable, Stoneskin, and Block Damage. If the target lacks those protections, the attack doubles its damage, turning it into a lethal execution tool. To make things worse for the enemy, if Granyt secures a kill with this skill, he instantly gains another turn, allowing him to chain pressure and dismantle entire teams. Paired with Geode Haymaker (A2), which grants Increased Accuracy to allies and lands Decrease Defense and Block Buffs on enemies, Granyt provides both offensive utility and disruption, giving his team the edge in prolonged battles.
Even his basic attack, You’re Barred! (A1), offers strategic value. The triple hit strips buffs while ignoring defense, making him highly effective in dungeons like Fire Knight where multi-hit skills are crucial. Across the board, Granyt blends raw damage with control and team support, creating a champion who feels equally at home dismantling Arena stall defenses, crippling Hydra heads with Block Buffs, or smashing down dungeon bosses. Granyt Doorkeep is more than a guardian of the gates, he is the gate itself, and he decides who passes through.

Granyt Doorkeep Champion Synopsis
The Stout Oak Inn was no stranger to chaos, and that night proved no different. Broken stools, bloodied teeth, and an unconscious guard told the story of another violent brawl. Yet for Maulie, the innkeeper, this was routine. As the last drunken patrons stumbled into the night, she finally relaxed when Granyt, her towering doorkeeper, stepped from the shadows. With stone running through his body and glowing runes carved into his skin, Granyt looked more like a force of nature than a man. Still, his presence meant safety, and Maulie knew she needed no other protector.
The two exchanged banter over the evening’s wreckage, Maulie scolding him for turning what should have been a controlled intervention into a brawl that left another Dock Guard injured. Granyt dismissed the complaint with humour, insisting it was all part of the risks of his work. Together, they fell into their usual rhythm: Maulie collecting tankards while Granyt repaired damage and cleaned the floor, his deep voice humming old mining songs. Yet behind their easy routine, Maulie’s thoughts kept drifting to him, to questions she had carried for years.
By the time the inn was restored, the Ogryn tossed outside, and the fire once more glowing warmly, the pair settled at the bar. Sharing drinks, Maulie could not ignore the significance of the date. Ten years had passed since Granyt had first appeared, collapsing through her doorway coated in grime and desperation. She reminded him of that night, of how he had begged her for help, too exhausted to say much beyond a single haunting phrase. For Granyt, it still felt like yesterday.
Maulie pressed him to recall those words, and he whispered them again: “They’re all trapped.” His eyes fell to the fire as memories of his past surged forward. He confessed that he still saw the faces of his lost comrades, shadows of miners who had perished in a collapse, appearing at the edge of his vision before dissolving into nothing. Their songs, their laughter, and their presence haunted him daily, a burden that had never eased in all the years since. Maulie rested her hand on his stony shoulder, offering silent comfort as grief threatened to overtake him once more.
Breaking the heavy silence, Maulie lifted the mood with a toast. She poured fine liquor into delicate glasses and reminded him of the life they had built together at the Stout Oak. For every fight broken up and every weary traveller served, their inn had become a refuge in a harsh world. Smiling, Granyt raised his glass to hers, the clink of crystal sealing their shared bond. “To many more years,” he said, and for a moment, the weight of his sorrow seemed just a little lighter.
