Gator Storyline
In his childhood, Gator’s magical ability was out of control – presenting a danger to himself and others. Were it not for a travelling magi belonging to the Coven, he would have likely killed himself with one failed spell or the other. But fate saw fit to give the young lizardman another chance and provide him with tutors open-minded enough to pass their knowledge to a creature many would not see as anything beyond a beast. Such good fortune was not wasted, and when Gator returned to his people, it was a full-fledged mage, well-versed in arts that not many shamans would dare to replicate.
Stars for magma/nether/frost/floors/scarab?
Shouldn’t this get ranking for Nether Spider. It seems it belongs to the must have group for that boss
Better than spirithost as when booked it’s 3 turn, where spirithost booked is 4, if you include the 1 turn block debuffs.
That extra turn might keep you alive
On the support leg, you should have cycle of magic isntead of lore of steel, as we are all using his for his aoe remove debuffs, booked it’s on a 3 turn cool down, on the chance it hits on a 2 turn it’s great.
I really needed this guy for the Nether Spider. I have Reliquary Tender and Scyl of the Drakes, but could not manage without Gator and his A3. I only have him at level 40, no books. I gave him a Shield and a Speed set.

@ronin You can easily get by with just a level 50 for the first two nether spider levels…I plugged him in as just a level 50 and, as you guessed, he works like a charm and was pretty much the only reason I got through levels 75 and 90… the issue is the third level nether spider (150)…she is very fast and very tough and my level 50 gator isn’t doing it….I get the feeling Ill have to commit to a level 60 gator but that’s very hard to do Considering I’m mostly free to play. Tried a bunch of different options but I’ve got the feeling he needs to be 60 to make it work I just hate having to put that many resources into him on what is basically a guess on whether he will get me through one specific boss in doom tower…
i think Gator’s A3 could be the answer to nether spider in doom tower. i fooded the first one i got, i gonna build this guy up

Confirming I have beaten Nether Spider on Doom Tower hard with a Level 50 Gator as backup cleanser to Mausoleum Mage. Build him high speed and high HP in Reflex set and forget about Accuracy and damage. Great to see an under-used Rare find a niche in endgame.
I dont have Raglin, Reliquary Tender, Sethalia, Scyl of the Drakes, Doompriest, or Vrask
Just did nether spider 90 normal with this guy, no way i would have done it without him.
If you dont have Tender this guy is a must!
