Fjorad Wolfheart Overview
Fjorad Wolfheart stands as a formidable Mythical champion from the Dwarves faction, embodying both primal ferocity and ancient ice magic. Raised among wolves in the unforgiving mountains, Fjorad feels more beast than dwarf, a duality reflected in his dual forms. Gifted with an enchanted axe by Tormin, he wields the power to freeze enemies solid, turning the tide of battle with chilling precision. His icy blue transformation not only marks his ascension into a true damage machine but also amplifies his strategic utility across various game modes. Whether you’re facing Gaellen Pact foes or tackling high-stakes boss battles, Fjorad’s versatility makes him a force to be reckoned with. Additionally, his Aura grants all allies an Increase Accuracy (ACC) in every battle, further cementing his role as both a controller and support unit.
In his base form, Fjorad excels as a master of crowd control and battlefield manipulation. The Wolfheart’s Rage skill unleashes a devastating area-of-effect attack that freezes all enemies and slows their speed, offering players critical control over enemy turn order. This ability is particularly potent against Gaellen Pact enemies, who remain frozen for two turns instead of one. Additionally, his Great Captain skill buffs allies by granting Block Debuffs, increasing their speed, and reducing skill cooldowns — a boon for team synergy during encounters like Hydra or Hard Fire Knight. Complementing this is his passive Best Served Cold, which retaliates against debuff attempts with a chance to freeze enemies, ensuring Fjorad remains a constant threat even when targeted. Notably, this chance rises to 100% against Gaellen Pact enemies, making him exceptionally effective in those matchups. These abilities make his base form indispensable for setting up transitions into his alternate form while maintaining dominance through crowd control.
Transforming into his alternate form via Metamorph, Fjorad becomes a relentless damage dealer capable of decimating enemies under crowd control effects. The Icequake skill shines here, delivering massive area-of-effect damage with extra hits on frozen, stunned, or otherwise controlled targets. Each hit reduces the enemy’s maximum health and turn meter, crippling their ability to respond. Meanwhile, Disciple of Tormin serves as a deadly single-target nuke that ignores defense entirely if the target is frozen, applying Block Revive upon killing them — a mechanic invaluable for preventing revivals in key fights. His Rimecleave skill adds further utility by resetting random skill cooldowns upon securing kills, enabling rapid cycling of his powerful toolkit. Furthermore, his passive Frosty Resolve allows him to counterattack with Rimecleave whenever enemies increase his skill cooldowns, ensuring he can adapt and maintain pressure even when disrupted. Paired with allies like Tormin the Cold or Gurgoh the Augur, who can apply Freeze debuffs, Fjorad’s alternate form becomes unstoppable, making him a cornerstone for both PVE content and Arena dominance.

Fjorad Wolfheart Champion Lore Synopsis
Fjorad grew up idolising the legendary Tormin the Cold, a Dwarf who had overcome great hardships and embarked on daring adventures. Hailing from the same home of Gloomdeep Hold, Fjorad felt a deep connection to Tormin and aspired to achieve similar greatness. From an early age, he dedicated himself to mastering a wide range of skills, excelling in combat, sailing, magic, and even the ability to communicate with animals. His relentless work ethic set him apart from both his peers and his mentors, but despite his achievements, he longed for something beyond Gloomdeep. Knowing that Tormin’s transformation happened after he ventured to the Winterlands, Fjorad set his sights on the same path, eager to seek out adventure and forge his own legend.
Before reaching the Winterlands, Fjorad spent time in Port Wretched, Gloomdeep’s bustling docklands, where he encountered an extraordinary mix of people. Pirates, sorcerers, traders, and warriors of various races crossed his path, each carrying stories and opportunities he had never imagined. He embraced the chaos, drinking and brawling with newfound acquaintances while absorbing the knowledge and culture of the wider world. However, his goal remained unchanged, and he soon secured passage aboard a ship bound for the northern lands, hoping to experience the same revelation that had shaped his hero.
Life in the Winterlands did not unfold as Fjorad had expected. Instead of finding a grand purpose, he became restless and disillusioned. Seeking excitement, he joined a band of raiders and quickly proved himself as an exceptional pirate. With cunning tactics and fearless manoeuvres, he outmatched rival sailors and built a formidable reputation. He became known as the Direwolf of Port Wraith, commanding the fastest ship in the region, the Wylfror. The vessel, adorned with protective runes and wolf-totems, became his pride, and for the first time, he felt a semblance of fulfilment. Yet, an underlying sense of incompleteness lingered, as though he was still waiting for the moment that would define his destiny.
That moment came when the Gaellen fleet surrounded his ship in the closing days of the Gaellen War. Despite putting up a valiant fight, Fjorad and his crew were overpowered. His beloved ship was destroyed, his men slain or captured, and he was left adrift in the freezing sea. Battling exhaustion and the elements, he clung to a piece of wreckage for days, sustaining himself with desperate magic. Eventually, he washed ashore, half-conscious and at the brink of death. As he faded in and out of awareness, he had a vision of Tormin standing before him, radiating an aura of immense power. The legendary warrior handed Fjorad an enchanted axe, and as soon as he grasped it, all his pain and weakness vanished. His hands glowed blue with magic, thick fur extended along his arms, and he no longer felt the cold—he had become one with it.
With this transformation came clarity. Fjorad realised that Tormin’s greatness had not been granted by the Winterlands, but earned through his own choices and perseverance. He understood that his purpose had never been to wait for something extraordinary to happen to him, but to take control of his own fate. Now reborn, he embraced his new power, but one thought burned brighter than any other—vengeance. The Gaellens had destroyed his ship and slaughtered his crew. They would pay for what they had done, and Fjorad would carve his name into history, just as Tormin had before him.
