The Cult of K’Leth has remained in hiding for over two centuries, ever since the Sacred Order raided the Catacombs of Narbuk during the Age of Treachery. Despite facing both triumphs and hardships, its followers have never abandoned their vision of one day toppling the world’s ruling powers. This belief has been tirelessly reinforced by Losan K’Leth, the Cult’s leader, who has spent decades laying the groundwork for this ambitious goal. One of his most significant efforts has been the formation of an elite order of warriors, intended to serve as both powerful enforcers and symbols of resilience, inspiring his followers to endure the sacrifices required for their revolution.

However, the Cult suffered a severe setback when a breakaway faction, the Sect of Siroth, betrayed K’Leth and pledged allegiance to the Shadow God. Under the leadership of Bystophus, the sect waged a bitter struggle against its former brethren before ultimately being crushed. Though the rebellion was quelled and its remnants scattered or captured, the damage inflicted on the Cult was profound. Perdition, the Cult’s floating fortress, lost contact with many of its secret cells and strongholds. Entire battalions of Knights Revenant were annihilated, along with countless cultists, leaving K’Leth’s organisation in a vulnerable state.

Recognising the urgency of the situation, K’Leth was forced to accelerate his plans, deploying his elite warriors far earlier than intended. This formidable group, known as the Dawncallers, is made up of individuals taken in by the Cult as children, many of whom were orphans, outcasts, or victims of misfortune. Through rigorous training, they have been transformed into disciplined fighters and unwavering believers in the cause. Their crimson armour symbolises both the blood they are destined to spill and the sacrifices required to secure victory. Their distinctive helmets and double-headed spears evoke the image of a rising sun, heralding a new era of power for the Cult.

Dawncallers have now spread across Teleria, working to re-establish control, restore morale, and eliminate opposition. Thousands more undergo relentless training under the guidance of esteemed warriors like Rector Drath and Giath the Truthshield. Giath, in particular, has shaped their combat techniques, teaching them lethal spear-fighting manoeuvres such as the Way of the Darting Ray and the Movements of the Solar Flare. To battle a Dawncaller is to face an unpredictable and relentless opponent, whose every strike is both precise and devastating.

Among these warriors, Sabitha stands as one of the most devoted. Given her name by the Cult before she could walk, she has known no life outside of service to K’Leth. Leading with unwavering loyalty, she inspires fierce dedication among the cultists under her command. In the crime-ridden depths of Velyzar, her efforts to dismantle violent gangs and care for the abandoned have earned her both respect and fear. Her influence continues to spread, and though Velyzar’s infamous crime lord, Diamant Coppercoin, remains unaware of her presence, it is only a matter of time before their paths cross.
