Coldheart Review
Coldheart is a Rare Attack Void champion from Dark Elves faction in Raid Shadow Legends. Coldheart is one of the best champions for end game content, as she has a very powerful utility skill against bosses!
Heartseeker (A3 Skill) is her signature skill that decreases the turn meter of an enemy and deals massive amount of damage. This ability is extraordinary against bosses at higher stages, especially Spider’s Den and Fire Knight’s Castle as the damage dealt is based on Enemy MAX HP.
Flurry of Arrows (A1 Skill) is her default attack, which is useful in quickly reducing the Fire Knight boss shield counter and applies Heal Reduction debuff to prevent the boss from healing himself. This synergizes with Lordly Legionary default attack as it enables him to perform multiple hit based on Heal Reduction debuff rarity (50% vs 100%).
Heart of Pain (A2 Skill) is effective in clearing mobs of enemies if you build Coldheart in full offense stats. This skill also applies Poison and Decrease Accuracy debuff to deal extra damage on enemies who are still standing after the AoE attack.
For Coldheart to perform her role effectively as a powerful damage dealer and single-target crowd controller, ensure she has at least 70% Critical Rate and sufficient amount of Accuracy for her Heartseeker to reduce the target’s turn meter. Then, boost her Critical Damage stats as high as possible for Heartseeker to deal massive amount of damage! For early-mid game players, you can use equip her in Accuracy or Perception Set or Accuracy Chestplate to boost her Accuracy stats for the difficulty content you are facing. Otherwise, use HP% chestplate to increase her survivability or Attack% chestplate if you are using her in a full offense speed nuke dungeon team.
Overall, Coldheart is an exceptional champion who aids in speed farming dungeons to obtain better artifacts, so you can progress into late game quickly by having your champions equipped in better artifact sets.

If you are using Coldheart in Clan Boss, pick Giant Slayer instead of Flawless Execution to deal higher damage since the damage is capped on Heartseeker. Otherwise, choose Flawless Execution to boost your Critical Damage stat to boost Heartseeker’s damage output against dungeon bosses.

Coldheart Purpose
- Coldheart is primarily utilized as a single-target massive damage dealer and as a Decrease Turn Meter champion in the game with her Heartseeker (A3 Skill). To enable her to perform at her best, she requires high amount of Critical Rate (at least 70% for her Heartseeker skill or 100% as an AoE damage nuker) paired with high amount of Critical Damage (150~300%) and sufficient amount of Accuracy stats to apply her debuffs and negative effects on to her target.
- How do you achieve high amount of Critical Rate and Critical Damage on Coldheart? You will need to farm glove and amulet that has Critical Damage stat as their primary stat from dungeons. Apart from that, you can also get additional Critical Damage stat from Great Hall and equipping Critical Damage set. Look out for artifact sets that has these 4 stats: Critical Rate, Critical Damage, Accuracy and Speed as they are the best for Coldheart!
Coldheart Limitation
- Colhheart has very low base Health and Defense, which makes her an easy target for the enemies to knock her out from battle. There are 3 survivability strategies to workaround this issue. You could either protect her with Shield buff cast by her allies, crowd controlling them with Stun, Provoke and Freeze or nuke them before they have a chance to retaliate.
- Coldheart’s Heartseeker (A3 Skill) has a long skill cooldown (4 turns), which makes it difficult to prevent the enemy from taking her turn such as Skavag the Spider’s Den boss. Hence, you will need to pair her with 2 support type champions to alleviate this complication. The first champion specializes in Increase Speed buff and Increase Turn Meter to enable Coldheart to quickly cycle through her skill cooldown. The second champion specializes in Decrease Speed debuff and Decrease Turn Meter to slowdown the enemy, to give you ample amount of time to refresh the skill cooldown.
Coldheart Synergy
- Pair Coldheart with Renegade or Prince Kymar to reduce her skill cooldown quickly to allow her to perform her Heartseeker ultimate skill again! If you do not have these champions, you can use Reflex set to reduce the skill cooldown quickly. However, you will need to disable Coldheart’s Art of Pain (A2 skill) so the Reflex Set prioritize on refreshing the only skill that is on cooldown.

Here is Coldheart artifacts and masteries by Ayumilove, optimized as an all-rounder champion to speed run Fire Knight and Spider’s Den dungeons (Stage 1~25) as well as clearing Doom Tower Secret Rooms! Coldheart is equipped in a mix of basic sets, which are Critical Rate, Cruel and Accuracy Set. These artifacts provide additional Accuracy, Attack and Critical Rate stats to the base stats! The main stats to prioritize on Coldheart are Critical Rate, Accuracy and Speed. These are essential to enable her Heartseeker (A3 Skill) to apply Decrease Turn Meter to the enemy! To boost her Heartseeker damage, improve her Critical Damage stats at least 200~250% using Critical Damage gloves and amulet. Once these stats are achieved for the particular dungeon difficulty, then focus on increasing her survivability by improving her Defense and Health stats. Having Bloodshield accessory on Coldheart significantly raises her survival rate, as Heartseeker deals massive amount of damage based on Enemy MAX HP to generate a large shield on herself.

Even then, 15+67+12 is only 94%.
So, where does the other 7% come from?

Skill description of her a3 is wrong. she does not fully deplete the turnmeter, but only reduce it by 100% that is a big difference, since the turnmeter can exceed 100%.

Important is to deactivate A2 and lots of speed and acc. So Her A3 is “up every” second round.

Coldheart should be 5 stars on spider 4 on ice golem. The reason why is because in spider den there are no 2 waves of the enemy that need to clear, she doesn’t have to rely on support to surive. Clearing the spider before the mother takes a turn under one minute can be easily done. With ice golem, cold heart A3 will trigger the nuke that will lead to failure.

Coldheart your first 60!? Come on lol. Why did you do that? I know no one gave you that advice. Starter should be everyone’s first 60. Even if you pull a lego early. You won’t be able to book or ascend a lego nearly as fast as your Starter. Once your starter is maxed it can power level others and food to rank up. I don’t even have to ask if your coldheart is farming brutal 12-3. Even if she is (doubtful you have the gear) it isnt fast.
Sometimes Ayumilove is so overextended that he/she/they really should just say “I don’t have this champion/I don’t really know enough about this champion to provide information beyond their kit (multipliers, skills, etc.)
This isn’t one of those times. Everything ayumilove has said is on point on this page. The people with individual mastery nitpicks; if you’re short accuracy then yes absolutely go charged focus. Ayumiloves coldheart build displayed here is at 254 accuracy and im sure their build and hall have both improved since then, not to mention faction guardian bonuses. Getting charged focus “just because you’re supposed to” and basically just wasting that mastery point is something I fear far too many people do.
Literally everyone that offers build advice says to build what works for you/what you need. Use your heads people. Don’t copy just to copy. Read the masteries.

@Edran87: Charged Focus would be a good mastery setup for Spider’s Den if you do not have sufficient Accuracy from artifact sets. I’m using this mastery setup for all areas in the game and based from my experiences using Coldheart for speed farming dungeons, Exalt in Death is much more beneficial for Coldheart to increase her survivability. When you reach the required/minimum Accuracy of 225 for end-game dungeon farming (Stage 20~25), Charged Focus would be not so useful. If you only plan to use Coldheart for Spider’s Den only and your equipment does not have sufficient Accuracy, go with Charged Focus.
@Keith: I have 100% Critical Rate on Coldheart because I’m using her as a wave nuker for farming Fire Knight 20 artifacts and also using her to clear Hard Doom Tower All Rare Champion as a nuker for wave. If you are primarily using her just for Spider’s Den, then 70% Critical Rate would be sufficient for this use case and I would recommend you to use that setup. However, for my scenario, I would need a 100% Critical Rate for a consistent run as a damage nuker 🙂
Why put a 100% C Rate on her, she only needs 70%. Get rid of the overage and use for other stats.

@AZZA69: I would recommend building Ninja and Kael for Clan Boss and Dungeons (wave + boss) for early-mid game players. Once you get excellent gears, then you can start building Coldheart for speed run teams that deals high amount of damage to bosses.
Coldheart is preferably built later because it has a high requirement of gear and requires to be in a speed nuke teams where all champions in the team are above 200 speed to perform at its best! Reason being, Coldheart is squishy, so rather than building her to tank the damage, but all champions are optimized to dish out maximum amount of damage to wipe out the enemy wave before they can attack your champions.
Kael vs Ninja vs Coldheart => 2 of them, which one is better and where?
If you would have to chose 2 champions fro these 3: Ninja, Kael, Coldheart for each of the Dungeons and CB, which would you chose? I am going to build all 3 of them, but need to chose which 2 will be in each area. I have 3 champions which will support 2 attackers and can do fairly well in almost every area (Sethallia, Reliquary Tender, Kaiden = all three are quite tanky, 2 healers, 2 revivers) and junst need only heavy damage into each area…

She can be pretty squishy, I have to always have a healer on the team it seems. But she can def lay out some damage.
She is my first lvl 60 hero plus mastery max, with lead of Runekeeper Dazdurk 50 fulfill hard Campaign. By the way with Warmaster mastery she deal insane amount damagae to boss. Even in arena team work well.

A very solid upgrade over your ranged DDs, like Elhain. She’s a MASSIVE boost to your performance once acquired, good at nearly every activity.
On bosses, she delivers a massive punch (based on MAX HP) that is almost a guaranteed critical hit, AND a full set back. This is especially evident on Spider.
Her A1 is probably the best thing you can bring against Spirit Keep boss and Fire Knight, even before the Giant Slayer.
With Giant Slayer, she can hit a Hard clan boss for approximately 300k per turn before any poisons.
In Arena, she’s slightly worse as she’s fragile and is targeted often, but her denial of healing and accuracy can be a blessing against nasty healers and debuffers. Most adequately geared opponents will only last two rounds against her: deny heals on first, bring to 0 life and meter on second.
One mastery not recommended that’s been a lifesaver for me ~ more times than I can count ~ in lvl20 dungeons is Life-Drinker. Coldheart’s so squishy & so often low HP during my final fights with dungeon bossses! But with Life-Drinker, her Heartseeker takes her right to full health. (Y’all probably thought that was her LifeSteal gear! Cause y’all probably ALWAYS have her in it! ~ but I always went with CritRate/CritDmg gear on mine to max out her damage ~ & found, when her Heartseeker goes off, LifeDrinker is enough to heal her right up full health anyway! [so you CAN have ur cake (CritRate/CritDmg gear) and eat it too, with Coldheart! just gear her for max damage and use LifeDrinker instead!] 🙂
~ & on another topic of comment, while not KNOWING what’s best, I always went with FlawlessExecution on mine too. Figured I had enough EnemyMaxHP mechanic operating already, decided I liked the consistent added damage better.
A3 should say Depletes 100% of turn meter now instead of Fully Deplete.
Coldheart is generally defined as a game-changing champ is bc she can do insane damage in end-game gears.
She can one shot over 1M damage to spider 20 or some other dungeon bosses and most importantly – clear enemy turn meters – all with her A3.
And what’s more her A3 only requires 70% extra c.rate which makes she easy to build with gear sets you have.
I think this is the reason she is so unique and strong.
I have a fully booked Sniper she carry all my team in campaign and etc early on. Now I just got this. Will Coldheart be able to out do everything the Sniper in every aspect so I can retire the Sniper?

Frankly?
Her A1 is the actual weakest of her attacks. Even if all 4 of them land on a single target. It’s irrelevant how hard they land in Fire Keep because they’re there to drop the shield. Also irrelevant how hard they land in Clan Boss, because the shot that gets the damage on CB is the A3, and you’re getting the damage on the A1 from Giant Slayer not the raw attack damage. It’s also irrelevant how hard the A1 hits in Spider because it’s not enough targets to kill all the Spiderlings even if they could.
Her best shots are the A2 and A3. If you got them maxed, I think someone else might use the rare books better until/unless you get some spare you don’t have anything better to do with.

@Maluco: Personally, I would not use Coldheart in Campaign unless you have decent stats on your equipment to equip her. Stats with high amount of HP%, Speed, Accuracy, Critical Rate, Critical Damage and some Defense to allow her to survive at least 3 heavy hits from enemy nuke attacks. She is kinda squishy, so you will need to pair her with a Tank or Reviver. For Arena, I highly would not use her since she does not use her powerful attacks on auto in the first attack.
I’m surprised the gear set for Clan Boss and Dungeons isn’t lifesteal. That’s 100% heal every 4 turns with books.
Would you recommend Coldheart as replacement to Hordin in a team with Kael, Apothecary and Gorgorab for Nightmare Campaign/~lvl 10 Dungeons and getting out of Bronze 4 Arena? All champs are 6* levelled and fully equipped.
@notlikethis: something isn’t automatically a mistake because you think differently.
@NotLikeThis: Coldheart benefits from either Giant Slayer (from multiple hits) or Flawless Execution (Additional Critical Damage). If you’re not at end-game with excellent substats for gears (70% Critical Rate, at least 150% Critical Damage, 180 Speed+, 200+ Accuracy, above 30K HP and 2K Defense), then I would recommend getting Giant Slayer to deal more damage to bosses and minions from all skills rather than focusing on 1 skill that does the damage.
Why giant slayer masteries? That has to be a mistake right? Shouldn’t CH go for helmsmasher or flawless execution?
ATK% Chestplate is not what you want if you are not end game with incredible stuffs and supports that can protect/revive her.
If you use her only for her A3, no need for ATK (the ATK part of A3 in the equation has a ratio equal to half of Kael A1 in comparison… on spider it would be maybe 1-2% more damage dealt to put a ATK% Chest).
I would go for HP% > DEF% > ACC chest (if no banner / hall).
If you use her for her A1/A2, then it might be a good idea to put ATK%.

100% turn metter is not fully at all. In Raid shadow legends, when your turn metter reach 100% you can take a turn, but, if you look closely, when someone take a turn and some other character are at 100%, everyone turn metter still goes up, thus you can go above 150%, it’s just not shown (often seen in spiders den if you want to experiment). The turn order still follow the “highest” % goes first but speed still apply. Hitting a 150% turn metter Spider with your 151% coldheart will deplet the spider’s to like 50% thus not fully depleting the turn meter.
You can find official explaination on youtube from devs.

Coldheart never really was S tier, especially now because her turn meter reduction got nerfed from “Fully” to “100%” which is significant.

Also she can’t be S tier because she has poor defense in arena. Her A1 is not able, nor intended, to clear waves by herself and thus her lower defense comes into play.
Also note her AI is crap-tier everywhere because she’s always firing her A2 first – especially before firing A1 which is annoying af because poison won’t proc unless someone else hits heal reduction – because it’s AoE (only mitigation is to set target to boss in Spider if you want to delay that first turn).
She is still outstanding everywhere else.
@Fred seriously? Learn the game. Play Mino 15 on manual and when boss gets to turn 3 and is dazed with debuffed def, she pretty much finishes him off by herself without increased atk if you don’t have that top-tier team. She’s not a wave clearer so by your ill-logic, she’d be a 2 in ice, dragon, and FK.
My only suggestion is to put her at a 2 in mino.
she’s absolutely terrible in minotaur. yes she has some great skills, but try her with some champs that don’t carry her.

@Shahram that would be a bad idea because she’s not going to really kill anyone in the arena so the 3% in dungeons (waves) is kinda negligible and would only apply to Spiderlings killed with her A2. Since she’s fully offensive-oriented and requires being healed to stay in the fight, she’s better off with stoked to fury because she will be debuffed easier – such as those accused spiders.

while,yes, Cold heart is insanly good at every dungeon and keep, her missing stars in campaign and arena means she downgrades into A tier.

Coldheart late game availability is primarly or exclusively connected to her A3 Hearthseeker. For this reason for her gauntlets Critical DMG is much much better than C. Rate. You only need to get her crit rate to 70% for hearthseeker, so its better to boost her dmg and bring up the crit rate through secondary attributes of artifacts

Does cruel set do anything for this champion? I know Heartseeker is MAXHP but also some attack, and if you can ignore 5% defence (an some extra attack) would this help her damage?I know this will probably add some small damage to her regular attacks.
For her skill 3 “Heartseeker”, it also has the attribute of “Damage increases according to enemy MAX HP.” Super good for any type of boss encounter.
@Girrhuk It’s not about damage, it’s about turn meter reduction. She doesn’t fully deplete TM anymore – only by 100%. Spider has extra turn points often due to spiderlings and that nerf stopped me from farming accessories for a while.
Heartseeker was not nerfed, I’m farming spiders right now and it’s been the same damage I’ve been getting for the last three months.

Why Giant slayer? Nobody takes her in Clanboss and even if, Lore of steel gives so less bonus, people are obviously not doing the math.
Coldheart is very easy to gear, she scales nearly single handily by crit damage, everybody has her at 70% crit chance, nobody deals damage with her A1 and A2.
Plus, the whole thing only makes sense on Spiders when you go with the support tree, she can build accuracy so easy since she gets carried by other characters when it comes to help and defense, plus attack stat chances very less on her overall damage and in Fireknight, she benefits from Retribution to rely less on other multi hitters, which sets a spot free in the team.

I have yet to test this, but if you are using her for CB i believe it may be more useful to invest in defense and HP. She will deal a lot of damage with giantslayer and A3 alone
Why lore of steel I see much of this on so many hero’s but yet u get no benefit from anything other than normal gear sets.life steal Crit Damage and the like get zero benefits from lore of steel so why bother.
I don’t think Giant Slayer is good on Coldheart. She does not fair very well in Clan Boss, dungeons are where she shines. I think 20% Crit Damage makes more sense.
@Michael Cowan: Spirit Haste is used to speed up Coldheart when her allies die. This allows her to get to her quicker to cast A3 skill faster. Master Hexer is also good to enable her to inflict debuff with additional 1 turn more. I have updated Coldheart mastery guide to use Master Hexer, since she can benefit more with longer Poison debuff for Dungeons.
Why Spirit Haste and not Master Hexer?
@Fredina: It depends on the champions you have currently. Assuming if you do not equipment with excellent main stats and substats, go with Giant Slayer. Flawless Execution damage provides excellent additional damage if you have 100% Critical Rate and at least 2500 Attack stats. In addition, Coldheart requires at least 175 Accuracy stats for her to drop enemy Turn Meter to 0% without being resisted by enemy’s champion Resist stats. I would go with Giant Slayer since it allows all of your skills deal extra high damage rather than just relying on her Heartseeker A3 skills alone.
I’ve seen a lot of builds that say +20% CD for tier 6 is the way to go. What are your thoughts on that?
@Tallon feiss ign minez: Yes, its possible to get sufficient 100% Critical Rate from substats but those will require lots of dungeon farming for at least epic~legendary equipment that has those substats. Also, its recommended getting a Critical Damage gloves to replace Critical Rate gloves to increase Coldheart’s Heartseeker damage significantly (above 1 milion damage) since there is no cap for Critical Damage.
