Altar of Souls Guide | Raid Shadow Legends

The Altar of Souls is where you can summon Souls to Awaken your Champions, making them stronger than ever before. Awakening a Champion grants them access to
Blessings, which increase stats and enable powerful new abilities. This will allow you to create new and unique team combinations.

Souls
To Awaken a Champion, you need to collect their Souls. There are two types of Souls: Perfect Souls and Split Souls. Perfect Souls allow you to Awaken your Champion to the exact Level of Awakening indicated by the number of red stars on the Soul, without any further steps or requirements. If you’re lucky enough to find a 6-star Perfect Soul for a Champion, you can fully Awaken them in a single step. Split Souls, on the other hand, Awaken your Champions one Level at a time. For example, if you fInd a 5-star Split Soul for a Champion, you’ll only be able to use that once they are at Level 4 of Awakening. Perfect Souls can be summoned from Soulstones. You can get Split Souls from the Soul Merchant using Soul Essence.

Soulstone Summon
You can get Perfect Souls here by summoning them from Soulstones using Silver. Soulstones always summon Perfect Souls. To get Soulstones, you’ll need to head to
the Mystic Market and use the Soul Coins that you’ve earned. Once you’ve got enough Soul Coins, there are 3 types of Soulstones that you can get: Mortal, Immortal, and Eternal Soulstones. The better the Soulstone, the better the chance you have at receiving top-tier Souls. Soulstones work similarly to Shards.

Here’s the breakdown of what you can get from each type of Soulstone:

  • Mortal Soulstones can summon 1* – 6* Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Mythical Perfect Souls.
  • . Immortal Soulstones can summon 3* – 6* Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Mythical Perfect Souls.
  • Eternal Soulstones can summon 5* – 6* Epic, Legendary, and Mythical Perfect Souls.

In addition to gaining Perfect Souls, using Mortal and Immortal Soulstones also rewards you with Soul Coins. Using 10 Mortal Soulstones gives you 200 Immortal Soul Coins, and you’ll get 300 Eternal Soul Coins when you use 10 Immortal Soulstones. Note: Souls for the Champions that cannot be summoned from Shards will only be added to the Soulstone summoning pool once you have those Champions in your Collection.

Wishlist

The Wishlist allows you to increase your chances of summoning Perfect Souls for specific Champions 8 times. You’ll get to choose 9 Champions, with 3 slots for each Rarity (excluding Common, Uncommon, and Mythical), to add to your Wishlist. Note: the Wishlist will only work when summoning Souls from Mortal, Immortal, and Eternal Soulstones. When a Soul Summon Pool Event is active, the Wishlist will not work when summoning Souls from the Prism Soulstone.

Soul Merchant

The Soul Merchant is where you can trade your Soul Essence for 1* Perfect Souls and 2* – 6* Split Souls directly. The selection of Souls that the Soul Merchant has to offer refreshes automatically twice a day. There are 4 Slots that contain Souls for Rare Champions, 6 Slots that contain Souls for Epic Champions, and 4 Slots with Souls for Legendary Champions. The Soul Merchant will always keep your requirements in mind. You’ll never get a Split Soul that’s of a lower Awakening Level than what you need for a Champion you have already Awakened. For example, if you have a Champion at Level 3 of Awakening, the next Split Soul you see in the Soul Merchant’s wares for that specific Champion will be a Level 4. If a Champion hasn’t been Awakened at all, you might even see a few Level 1 Perfect Souls too. Note: Souls for Champions that cannot be summoned from Shards will only be added to the Soul Merchant’s wares when you have them in your Champion Collection.

Awakening

Once you have obtained the Perfect or Split Souls necessary to Awaken your Champion, you can Awaken them in the Altar of Souls. Choose your Champion, and then
choose the Souls you’d like to use.

There are rules for a Champion to Awaken:

  • A Champion cannot Awaken past its Ascension Level.
  • The Champion must be Rare, Epic, Legendary, or Mythical.

Soulburn Reimbursement

  • If you use a high-Level Perfect Soul fora Champion that you’ve already Awakened to a lower Level, you will get Soul Coins as reimbursement for the Awakening Levels that the Champion had reached.
  • So, if you have a Champion at Level 3 of Awakening and then you use a 6* Perfect Soul to Awaken them further, you will get some Soul Coins for the 3 Levels you had already Awakened. If that same Champion hadn’t been Awakened at all and then you used the 6* Perfect Soul to Awaken it, you would get no extra Soul Coins.
  • The type and number of Soul Coins that you receive as Soulburn Reimbursement depend on the Champion’s Rarity and Awakening Level that they were previously at.

Soul Collection

All your Souls are stored in your Soul Collection. The Soul Collection can be expanded if you need more Slots, and you can use the filters to sort your collected Souls. You can sell any Souls that you don’t want for Soul Coins, and the type and number of Soul Coins you receive depends on the Soul’s Rarity and Level of Awakening.

Soul Coins

They’ve been mentioned quite a bit, but what are Soul Coins? Soul Coins are used for purchasing Soulstones and Soul Essence, and can be earned in a number of
different ways, including Beating the Iron Twins Fortress, Using Mortal and Immortal Soulstones to summon, As a Soulburn Reimbursement, and Selling Souls.

There are 3 types of Soul Coins:

  • Mortal Soul Coins – used to get Mortal Soulstones.
  • Immortal Soul Coins – used to get Immortal Soulstones and Immortal Soul Essence.
  • Eternal Soul Coins – used to get Eternal Soulstones and Eternal Soul Essence.

SoulEssence

Soul Essence is used for getting Souls directly from the Soul Merchant, and can be earned in two ways: Beating the Iron Twins Fortress and Traded for Soul Coins at the Mystic Market.

There are 2 types of Soul Essence:

  • Immortal Soul Essence — can be traded at the Soul Merchant for 2* — 4* Split Souls and 1* Perfect Souls.
  • Eternal Soul Essence – can be traded at the Soul Merchant for 5* – 6* Split Souls.

Mystic Market

The Mystic Market allows you to use Soul Coins to purchase Soul Essence and Soulstones. It is always available, and there are no purchase limits, meaning you can use all the Soul Coins you have whenever you like.

Souls Summoning Chances

Soulstones always summon Perfect Souls, but every Soulstone has different chances of summoning Souls for Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Mythical Champions. By default, the odds of receiving each Champion’s Soul is the same for all Champions within the same Rarity – except for Champions on your Wishlist, whose odds are doubled (note: Mythical Champions cannot currently be added to the Wishlist). The odds of summoning Souls for Rare, Epic, Legendary, or Mythical Champions from each Soulstone are as follows:
