The Heroes of Maple have awakened and are reunited once more.

Hundreds of years ago, they were the 6 Legendary Heroes that sealed the Black Mage.

Since then, Maple World was ever peaceful, but it was just the calm before the storm…

Class Awakening: Aran

Aran, the Hero that uses a polearm, has awakened.

Main Changes

  1. Aran character creation has been updated.
  2. You are now able to create both Male and Female Aran characters.
  3. You will no longer have choices for any appearance settings.
  4. Combos are no longer consumed when using skills.
  5. Reach 1000 combos and enter an enhanced mode: Adrenaline Boost, where you can use Finisher skills.
  6. Finisher skills can only be used during this mode, and only can be activated via the command keys.
  7. Stacked combos will no longer be lost upon death.
  8. Skills will now have a Command Seal feature, where you can right click skills to seal their commands.
  9. By sealing a skill, the skill cannot be activate through Command keys, and only can be activate via Hotkeys.
  10. New Link Skill has been added for Aran.

Class Awakening: Evan


Evan, the successor of the Onyx Dragon Master Freud, is ready to protect Maple World.

Main Changes

  1. Evan character creation has been updated.
  2. You are now able to create both Male and Female Evan characters.
  3. You will no longer have choices for any appearance settings.
  4. Evan Job Advancements has been standardized to 4 instead of the current 10.
  5. Various Evan quests has been adjusted to Level 60 & 100 (3rd Job / 4th Job Adv.)
  6. New Fusion skills are added, where Mir and Evan powers are combined together.
  7. New Link Skill has been added for Evan.

Class Skill Rebalancing


Some character classes have received skill changes as part of game balancing efforts.

This patch aims to :

  1. Make minor adjustments to existing classes skills without affecting overall gameplay.
  2. Improve on skills that are of lower hunting efficiency
  3. Summon skills damage will now use the character’s damage formula. Soul Weapon skills are not affected.
  4. Change certain buff skills to passive skills.
  5. Adjust Hyper skill buffs cast delay times
  6. Change Maximum Damage increasing buffs to percentage-based increments.

Explorers

All Explorers

  1. Epic Adventure: Max damage limit boost changed from an increase of 5,000,000 to 10% increase. Cast action is removed.

Explorer Warriors

  1. Iron Body: Changed to passive skill.

Hero

  1. Brandish: Damage increased to 280%, attack range has been increased.
  2. Combo Force: Cast delay is decreased. Consumes 1 Combo Counter when used with down key.
  3. Shout: Using the skill with down arrow key and using it normally has been changed.
  4. Normal Shout gives 200% damage, Number of Hits: 6, Max Enemies Hit: 10, in a larger range.
    Shout with down arrow key gives 200% damage, Number of Hits: 3 in a small range, and stuns enemies for 6 seconds. Bosses hit with this will receive a debuff that increases the chance to inflict a status on them by 100%.

  5. Raging Blow: During Enrage state, Damage decreased to 167%, Number of hits increased to 9.
  6. Valhalla: Cooldown increased to 210 seconds, cast delay decreased. Attack boost is removed and replaced with 50% Critical Rate. Knockback prevention is added for 30 seconds, and number of monsters hit by Raging Blow is changed to 8.

Paladin

  1. Paladin Expert: Additional 3% Mastery has been added when using One-Handed Sword or One-Handed Mace.
  2. Blast: Buff duration increased to 120 seconds.

Dark Knight

  1. Beholder: Cast action removed.
  2. Beholder Dominant: Damage formula changed to character’s.
  3. Beholder Shock: Damage formula changed to character’s.
  4. Lord of Darkness: Heal amount decreased to 2% MaxHP.
  5. Dark Impale: Attack range increased.
  6. Gungnir’s Descent: Damage decreased to 210%, Number of hits increased to 12.
  7. Reincarnation: Invincibility duration increased to 40 seconds, Number of monsters required to be killed to revive increased to 30. Cooldown increased to 600 seconds.
  8. Revenge of the Beholder: Damage formula changed to character’s.
  9. Dark Thrist: Cast delay is decreased.

Explorer Magicians

  1. Magic Guard: Changed to Toggle On/Off skill.

Arch Mage (Fire,Poison)

  1. Poison Breath: DoT damage duration increased to 10 seconds.
  2. Ignite: Error that would ignore monsters’ attack nullification skills has been fixed.
  3. Burning Magic: DoT damage duration changed to 100% boost.
  4. Ifrit: Enemies hit by Ifrit will now receive 140% damage every second for 2 seconds.
  5. Mist Eruption: DoT boost has been adjusted to give more damage.
  6. Poison Mist – DoT Persist: DoT duration boost decreased to 6 seconds.

Arch Mage (Ice,Lightning)

  1. Thunderstorm: Damage formula changed to character’s, and now increased movement speed.
  2. Chain Lightning: Damage decreased to 230%, Number of hits increased to 8.
  3. Freezing Breath: Remaining duration of the skill will now be shown in buff window.
  4. Elquines: Damage formula changed to character’s.

Bishop

  • Invincible: Changed to passive skill.
  • Angel Ray: Damage decreased to 295%, Number of hits increased to 5.
  • Bahamut: Damage formula changed to character’s, Damage decreased to 500%.
  • Angelic Vengeance: Angel Ray’s Number of hit boost increased to 5.
  • Bowmaster

    1. Quiver Cartridge: Error that would ignore monsters’ attack nullification skills has been fixed.
    2. Phoenix: Damage formula changed to character’s.

    Crossbow Master

    1. Schutike Eisen: Pressing down arrow keys moves you while Arrow Illusion is on.
    2. Frostprey: Damage formula changed to character’s.
    3. Arrow Illusion: Duration decreased to 30 seconds, cast delay decreased. A 20 second cooldown is added.
    4. Bull’s Eye: Cast delay is decreased.

    Night Lord

    1. Mark of Assassin: Error that would ignore monsters’ attack nullification skills has been fixed.
    2. Dark Flare: Damage formula changed to character’s.
    3. Dark Harmony: Changed to passive skill.
    4. Mark of Night Lord: Error that would ignore monsters’ attack nullification skills has been fixed.

    Shadower

    1. Channel Karma: Changed to passive skill.
    2. Dark Flare: Damage formula changed to character’s.
    3. Veil of Shadows: Error that would ignore monsters’ attack nullification skills has been fixed.

    Dual Blade

    1. Channel Karma: Changed to passive skill.
    2. Thorns: Changed to passive skill.

    Viper

    1. Nautilus Strike: Damage decreased to 440%, Number of hits increased to 7.
    2. Dark Clarity: Changed to passive skill.
    3. Admiral’s Wings: Changed to passive skill.
    4. Octopunch: Damage boost when fully charged removed. When you are fully charged now, Octopunch deals 315% damage 10 times.
    5. Dragon Strike: Damage decreased to 300%, Number of hits increased to 12. Cast delay is decreased.

    Captain

    1. Nautilus Strike: Damage decreased to 440%, Number of hits increased to 7.
    2. Rapid Blast: Damage increased to 165%.
    3. Summon Crew: Damage formula changed to character’s, Damage increased to 230%.
    4. Cross Cut Blast: Changed to passive skill.
    5. Assemble Crew: Damage formula changed to character’s, Damage decreased to 230%.
    6. Octo-Cannon: Damage formula changed to character’s.
    7. Eight-Legs Easton: Now passively increases Nautilus Strike damage by 130%.
    8. Parrotargetting: Cast delay decreased.
    9. Ahoy Mateys: Damage formula changed to character’s.
    10. Untiring Nectar: Cast action is removed.

    Cannon Shooter

    1. Monkey Wave: Buff duration increased to 30 seconds, cast delay decreased.
    2. Barrel Roulette: Buff duration increased to 180 seconds.
    3. Monkey Militia: Damage formula changed to character’s, damage decreased to 295%.
    4. Cannon Barrage: Damage increased to 650%.
    5. Anchors Away: Damage formula changed to character’s.
    6. Nautilus Strike: Damage decreased to 510%, Number of hits increased to 5.
    7. Buck Shot: No longer applies to summon skills.
    8. Rolling Cannon Rainbow: Damage formula changed to character’s. Error that would ignore monsters’ attack nullification has been fixed.

    Knights of Cygnus

    Mihile

    1. Soul Driver: Cast delay is decreased.
    2. Sword Mastery: Additional effect to increase final damage by 15%.
    3. Soul Charge: Changed to passive skill.
    4. Righteous Indignation: Final damage boost decreased to 25%.
    5. Intense Focus: Additional effect to increase final damage by 10% and 20% critical rate.
    6. Soul Assault: Damage decreased to 280%, Number of hits increased to 8.
    7. Rolling Soul: Final damage boost decreased to 30%, critical rate boost is removed.
    8. Radiant Cross – Install: Damage decreased to 75%, Number of hits increased to 4.
    9. Queen of Tomorrow: Max damage limit boost changed from an increase of 5,000,000 to 10% increase. Cast action is removed.

    Cygnus Knights Common Skills

    1. Cygnus Bless (Link Skill): This skill will no longer take up a Link Skill slot when linked to another Knights of Cygnus class.
    2. Glory of Guardians:Max damage limit boost changed from an increase of 5,000,000 to 10% increase. Cast action is removed.

    Soul Master

    1. Sword of Light: Changed to passive skill.
    2. Inner Light: Changed to passive skill.
    3. Soul Guardian: Changed to passive skill.
    4. Soul Pledge: Changed to passive skill.
    5. Soul Penetration: Error that would ignore monsters’ attack nullification has been fixed.

    Wind Breaker

    1. Spiral Vortex: Added passive effect to increase Chilling Fusillade damage by 275%.
    2. Wind Chime: Additional effect of 10% ATT is added.
    3. Expert Bow Mastery: Final damage boost increased to 25%.
    4. Storm Bringer: Cast action is removed.

    Night Walker

    1. Shadow Bat: Added as a Dark Element attack.
    2. Triple Toss: Last hit is now a Dark Element attack.
    3. Quadruple Toss: Last hit is now a Dark Element attack.
    4. Spirit Projection: Added as a Dark Element attack.
    5. Servant of Shadows: All shadow hits are now a Dark Element attack.
    6. Quintuple Toss: Last hit is now a Dark Element attack.
    7. Shadow Stitch: Added as a Dark Element attack.
    8. Dark Omen: Added as a Dark Element attack.
    9. Dominion: Added as a Dark Element attack.
    10. Guise of Shadows: Added as a Dark Element attack.

    Striker

    1. Vortex: Changed to passive skill.
    2. Thorny Armor: Changed to passive skill.

    Legendary Heroes

    1. Heroic Memories: Max damage limit boost changed from an increase of 5,000,000 to 10% increase. Cast action is removed.

    Mercedes

    1. Spirit Surge: Changed to passive skill.
    2. Elemental Knight: Ice knight’s damage decreased to 385%, Fire knight’s damage decreased to 385%, Dark knight’s damage decreased to 485%.
    3. Spirit Escape: Employs the power of spirits to escape from danger.

    Phantom

    1. Carte Noire: Error that would ignore monsters’ Attack nullification has been fixed.
    2. Impeccable Memory H : Use another Explorer’s Level 150 Hyper Buff skill that has been stolen with Skill Swipe. Phantom’s own duration and cooldown are applied to stolen skill. Stolen skills do not add their passive effects. Stolen skills can be set up through the Beginner skill, Loadout. (NEW SKILL)

    1. Fox Spirit:Error that would ignore monsters’ attack nullification skills has been fixed.

    2. Equalize: Cast delay is decreased.

    Resistance

    Demon Slayer

    1. Black-Hearted Strength: Changed to passive skill.
    2. Dark Metamorphosis: Invincibility is added when casting this skill.
    3. Blue Blood: Cast delay is decreased.
    4. Demon Fortitude: Max damage limit boost changed from an increase of 5,000,000 to 10% increase. Cast action is removed.

    Demon Avenger

    1. Abyssal Rage: Changed to passive skill.
    2. Overwhelming Power: Changed to passive skill.
    3. Shield Chasing: Error that would ignore monsters’ attack nullification skills has been fixed.
    4. Forbidden Contract: Cast delay is decreased.
    5. Demon Fortitude: Max damage limit boost changed from an increase of 5,000,000 to 10% increase. Cast action is removed.

    Resistance Common Skills

    1. Spirit of Freedom (Link Skill): This skill will no longer take up a Link Skill slot when linked to another Resistance class.
    2. Will of Liberty: Max damage limit boost changed from an increase of 5,000,000 to 10% increase. Cast action is removed.

    Battle Mage

    1. Summon: Death: Added as a Dark Element attack.
    2. Dark Chain: Added as a Dark Element attack.
    3. Dark Shock: Added as a Dark Element attack.
    4. Battle Burst: Added as a Dark Element attack.
    5. Dark Genesis: Attack and extra attacks while this skill is on cooldown is added as a Dark Element attack.
    6. Master of Death: Duration decreased to 30 seconds, Cooldown increased to 200 seconds.

    Wild Hunter

    1. Feline Berserk: You can now turn on and off the Red Wing effect via right click.
    2. Extend Magazine: Changed to passive skill.
    3. Silent Rampage: Cast delay is decreased.

    Mechanic

    1. Over Tuning: Changed to passive skill.

    Xenon

    1. Linear Perspective: Changed to passive skill.
    2. Hologram Graffitti: Cut Through: Damage formula changed to character’s.
    3. Hologram Graffitti: Stationmaster: Damage formula changed to character’s.
    4. Offensive Matrix: Changed to passive skill.
    5. Meltdown Explosion: Now gives invincibility when casting the skill, and Max damage limit boost of 10% for 25 seconds has been added upon usage.

    1. Tempest Blades: Morgh gauge increment is decreased.
    2. Final Form: After 4th Job Advancement, Final damage boost is decreased to 15%, Duration decreased to 60 seconds.
    3. Cursebite: Final damage boost is increased to 25%. Final form damage boost is decreased to 25%.
    4. Catalyze: Changed to passive skill.
    5. Stone Dragon:Damage formula changed to character’s.
    6. Gigas Wave: Damage increased to 330%.
    7. Blade Burst: Cast delay is decreased.
    8. Inferno Breath: Damage formula changed to character’s.
    9. Kaiser’s Majesty: Cast delay is decreased.

    Angelic Buster

    1. Melody Cross: HP Boost changed to a passive effect.
    2. Power Transfer: Remaining shield value will now appear on HP window, and shield cannot be above 99,999 HP.
    3. Soul Seeker:Error that would ignore monsters’ attack nullfication skills has been fixed.
    4. Dragon Whistle: Changed to passive skill.
    5. Trinity: Damage increased to 900%.
    6. Celestial Roar: Stun duration decreased to 3 seconds.
    7. Finale Ribbon: Max damage limit boost changed to 15% increase, Party members Max damage limit boost changed to 10% increase. Debuff duration is decreased to 20 seconds. Cooldown is decreased to 40 seconds.
    8. Soul Seeker Expert: Activation rate is increased by 15% when using Celestial Roar.
    9. Finale Ribbon – Overwhelm: Max damage limit boost changed from an increase of 3,000,000 to 20% increase.
    10. Finale Ribbon – Cooldown Cutter: Cooldown reduction increased to 25%.
