MapleStory Lynn (메이플스토리 린) is a Jianghu Magician, replacing Beast Tamer in non-Korean regions as of 2024. Born in the Eternal Forest of Jianghu, Lynn is the new Forest Child, protector of the forest, equipped with a Memorial Staff as her primary weapon and a Shield or Leaf as her secondary weapon. Alongside her Spirit Guides—Pan the Earth Guardian bear, Penni the Sky Guardian bird, and Paeon the Life Guardian wolf — Lynn must awaken her powers to save Gaia, the Forest Master, from eternal rest. Under Pan’s secretive protection, Lynn learns of her destiny as the Forest Child, responsible for awakening the forest’s Spirit Guides and saving the forest. Pan’s guardianship helps Lynn recall his name and seek Gaia’s blessing. Lynn later rescues Penni, recalling his name as he falls from a cliff. As Lynn reconciles her past lives with her current identity, she faces significant challenges and recalls Paeon’s past life, briefly reviving Gaia and affirming her role as the true Forest Child. Lynn and her Spirit Guides ultimately defeat the malevolent Hypnos, and despite Gaia’s fading, they honor her legacy by living freely and doing good with their newfound strength. Lynn is available in Japan, China, Global, and Taiwan regions.
