How to defeat Gorgos?
- DOT Immunity: Gorgos can stack multiple Damage Over Time (DOT) debuffs on your heroes and activate them at will with DOT Explosion, allowing him to defeat your team in a single turn. To counter this, apply an AoE DOT Immunity effect on your heroes to block Gorgos’ DOT effects. Merlin is a recommended hero for this role, as he can provide DOT Immunity. Make Merlin the fastest hero on your team and prioritize his A2 skill to apply Frozen Remains on Gorgos. This grants DOT Immunity to any ally attacking the boss, though it’s limited to three heroes. For optimal performance, consider using a 3-hero lineup instead of the traditional 4.
- DOT Removal: To help your team survive Gorgos’ DOT attacks, choose support champions who specialize in removing DOT effects. This is crucial, as many players mistakenly rely on champions that only clear debuffs, overlooking the need for specific DOT removal. In King Arthur Legends Rise, negative effects fall into two distinct categories: DOT effects (Damage Over Time), which steadily reduce health based on enemy max HP, and traditional debuffs, which alter stats to harm your team’s performance. Recommended hero to remove DOT is Isolde. Equip her in Vigor set so she gains 2 Vigor each turn (1 Vigor by default, and 1 Vigor from Vigor Set), then she is able to constantly use her A2 to remove DOT effects.
- Inflict DOT: To efficiently defeat Gorgos, who has a massive amount of HP (Hit Points), bring heroes with DOT (Damage Over Time) abilities, such as Gawain, Lancelot, Anguish, Isolde, and Rosier. - Red Madness: Remove all DOT from Gorgos. Fully Recharge Gorgo’s Attack Gauge. Gain Searing Flame for the rest of the battle. 100% chance to inflict Scorch on all enemies for 2/3/5 turns.
- Rampaging Specimen: Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Total damage 110% ATK. 100% chance for each hit to inflict Scorch for 3/5 turns.
- Stoke Flame: Remove all DOT from Gorgos. 100% chance to inflict Scortch on all enemies for 3/5 turns.
- Breath of Crimson Flame: Attacks all enemies 3 times. Total damage 60% ATK. Trigger DOT Explosion.
- Stone Throw: Attacks all enemies. Damage 50% ATK.
- Innate Immunity (Passive): At the start of battle: Gain Abnormal Status Immunity, Attack Gauge Decrease Immunity for the rest of the battle. Inflicts DOT Taken Increase +35% and Wrathful Ire on self.

- Searing Veil: Remove all DOT from Gorgos. 100% chance to inflict Scortch on all enemies for 3 turns.
- Red Watcher’s Wrath (Passive, Cooldown: 1 turn) After using a skill: 50% chance to inflict DOT Duration Increase 1 turn.

- Searing Veil: Remove all DOT from Gorgos. 100% chance to inflict Scortch on all enemies for 3 turns.
- Flame Fist: When attacking: 50% chance to Remove All Debuffs and apply Damage Taken Decrease to All Allies for 2 turns.
Gorgos Environmental and Element
Gorgos belongs to the Flame element and thrives in a Day/Heat environment. This synergy provides specific benefits to heroes of the same environment type. When using Heat/Day heroes, they gain the following bonuses: Critical Strike Damage: +30%, Attack Speed: +10, Damage Taken: -5%. Additionally, heroes equipped with Frost relics deal 125% increased damage to enemies while taking 15% less damage from them.
