Vengeful Hassel Skills

Iron Will (Trait → Ascension)
At the start of each round, gains a 15% bonus Damage Reduction and 35% bonus Resistance for each ally alive. Attacks deal bonus damage according to this hero’s Max Health. (Ascension → Upon receiving fatal damage, gains Damage Immunity for the turn [up to 1 time per battle].)

Hammer of Vengeance (Basic)
Deals 110% damage to 1 enemy, with a 50% chance to launch a bonus attack that ignores 50% of the enemy’s Defense. The trigger chance is increased to 100% if the enemy is a Light hero.

Heart of Hatred (Passive)

Vengeful Hassel Bio

Hassel’s early life was shaped by the tragic forces of resentment towards his father’s faint praise, general lack of recognition for his extraordinary magical and tactical brilliance, and long-standing envy towards his younger and much more carefree brother who was ultimately chosen ahead of him to serve as Chief Elder of the Molten Clan. Hassel was consequently lured into a series of poor decisions, including an alliance with the Duke Nicklaus of Lasir, and unwise dabblings with the forbidden powers of the Dark in order to allow his clan to reclaim their once-upon-a-time throne atop the Mountain Kingdom. The rest, as they say, is history. Hassel is now a very much vilified figure across the entire dwarven community.

If there was one tragic character flaw in Hassel’s heart it was pride, a protective shield of resentment and stubbornness erected to protect himself from the truth revealed by his brother, Rickard, that his father genuinely loved Hassel and appreciated his talents and abilities. No, this was far too much for the proud former scion of the Molten Clan. He will not undergo the humiliation of second-guessing past decisions, nor return to the life of a servant! Hassel has resolved instead to follow the ambitions and fire in his heart, and to return to his people one day as “Hassel the Vengeful.”
