Scarlett Bio

Many citizens of Lasir are aware of the secretive “Chameleon” spy organization that has ears and eyes throughout the duchy at the Duke’s fingertips. Fewer still would be aware of a yet more secretive organization – Shadowflame. Scarlett is one such member, a magically-sensitive werewolf able to operate independently in the shadows without a trace partially because she prefers the company of her own wolf brothers and sisters to that of human beings and she customarily leaves no survivors to report her movements. Barely a handful of people throughout the entire duchy are even aware of Scarlett’s existence, but which must include the current spymaster of Chameleon, Kyle, under whom Scarlett once trained although her recent success at gaining enemy intel at key moments has graduated her to much greater independence beyond Kyle’s jurisdiction. Scarlett’s has a proven track record against extremely high-risk targets as well, an occupation she has only survived perhaps due to her werewolf-ingrained strength and speed, and the assistance of her “wolfpack”. Scarlett may in theory be considered a mere servant of the Duke and a subordinate of Shadowflame, but in her heart she remains a servant of no man, nor entrusts herself to anyone in particular. Her current work for Shadowflame provides her with a convenient source of income and has opened doors that would otherwise be impassable for a werewolf in human society, but she has no illusions as to where her ultimate loyalties lie.
