Foody Review

Foody is a material light hero from Holy Light Empire in Awaken Chaos Era. Previously Foody was a material to be used to promote heroes but now he has found a new purpose, which is to support his allies with AoE healing and cleansing. His abilities shine in areas where removing negative effects is the key to success in battle, notably the Guild vs Environment (GvE) Dark Tower Boss, which most players are familar with the No Man’s Land Shadow Captive boss. The boss there applies multiple stacks of Curse debuff on your heroes, and failing to remove them before it reaches 10 stacks will instantly end their life when the boss performs the attack on them. The boss was predominantly countered by Simma, but she is a Legendary hero which is difficult to summon. Hence, Foody was released into the game to solve this issue to make it more accessible for players to have a fast AoE cleanser to counter this boss.

Foody Bio

The Astral Forest is the home of the Starlight Altar, a wellspring of cosmic energies protected day and night by a nearby enormous Guardian Tree and the elven sorcerers led by the High Priestess Mytheasia. Foody began life as an unusual “wisdom” fruit hanging down from one of the sacred tree’s branches, soon discovered then carefully tended to by Mytheasia who interpreted the singular fruit as a great sign from the Altar, and took care to nourish it with sacred water, sunlight, and soft whispers of the forest’s history and tales of its inhabitants. This fruit transformed eventually into a beautiful Astra Possum, which Mytheasia lovingly named “Foody”. Foody is a highly sentient creature, extremely curious about its world and whatever stories adventurers have to tell. It is also an expert in phantom magics courtesy of Mytheasia, which ahve allowed Foody to project thousands of copies of itself throughout the world. Fine food would undoubtedly be counted Foody’s greatest passion, the finest of all the magically-crafted XP Jelly, which to Foody represents a storehouse of preciious adventurers’ memories. Foody’s various avatars throughout Aurelica can consume XP Jelly on his behalf, allowing Foody of the Forest access to the precious delicacy from potentially anywhere. Unfortunately for this delightful Astra Possum, many adventurers are cold-hearted enough to consume Foody’s EXP Jelly-eating avatars as this is known to level up heroes very quickly.

Foody Archive Review

Before Divine Essence was introduced in Awaken Chaos Era, Foody was used as a material to promote heroes. Foody can be obtained by purchasing him from Shop with gold or diamonds, participating in events, receiving it as reward for completing Void Tower floors, obtaining Foody from the weekly Guild Chest and completing Foody’s progress missions! He cannot be use in a battlefield but to promote your heroes quickly using half of EXP Jelly that a normal hero consumes! The best way to use Foody is to promote your heroes to 6 Star. This is achieved using his Jelly Fanatic special ability that reduces EXP cost for upgrading/leveling a hero by 50%. Foody can only be leveled up to max level 40 and reached up to 5 Star, so he can be used similarly to a 5-Star Holy Pumpkin to rank up your hero. The leveling process of Foody is similarly to a regular hero without consuming an enormous amount of EXP Jelly! Foody is worth to purchase from the Shop when you’re early game player to swifly build heroes to clear Adventure Normal and Hard mode. Once you reach Adventure Mythic where you can farm high amount of EXP Jelly, then it’s much more worth to invest in 24 hours Double EXP Card rather than purchasing Foody from the shop. Reason being, farming Adventure provides you not just EXP Jelly but gold and junk gears to upgrade hero’s gears, glpyhs to make heroes stronger and summoning crystals to summon fodders. Remember to do your Foody’s Progression Missions when you are beginning your journey as some of those tasks are not retroactive, which means they can be only be completed upon taking action when the task is enabled/active! Checkout this Foody’s Guide to identify the major roadblocks that you may encounter for your account and to prepare for it.
