Evelyn Review
Evelyn is an Elite Offense Fire Hero from Lasir in Awaken Chaos Era. Evelyn is provided as one of free starter Hero upon starting Adventure Normal 1-1 to help you in clearing the Adventure stages along with Celine, Kane and Zachary. She along with 3 other Elite Heroes are used to synthesize Hakrin who is a powerful Epic Hero too!
Swordmanship is Evelyn’s unique offensive trait that allows her to ramp up her damage as the battle goes on for a period of time up to 40% max stack when fully ascended! This makes her one of the best Elite hero for dealing high amount of damage. She has a basic attack known as Thrust that attacks a single-target enemy and has a chance to trigger an additional attack, similarly to Hydrissea (Legendary Hero). Slash is her special ability that attacks an enemy while simultaneously applies Defense Down debuff to allow your allies to deal more damage to them. This skill synergizes well with her ultimate ability Weakpoint Slam that guarantees a Critical Hit if the enemy has that debuff on themselves! It’s recommended to apply Defense Down on the enemy first followed by triggering her ultimate for the maximum damage output.
Overall, Evelyn’s skill kit revolves around taking out an enemy one at a time, which makes her not that great for speed farming Adventure stages. However, her utility makes her one of the best Elite hero for boss raiding particularly in Armored Incursion (Guild Boss) during Fire/Wood Element season for early game.
Since the game prioritizes using ultimate rather than special ability, it’s advisable to pair Evelyn with a Defense Down hero such as Marian, Elson, Kane, Connor or William, who can apply this debuff first. To enable Evelyn to deal high amount of damage with her ultimate, equip her with gears that provides high amount of Attack and Critical Damage substats.
Endgame Tips: Keep several copies of Evelyn to synthesize Hakrin (Epic Hero) who will help you in progressing to endgame content, especially farming Arcane Dominator Dungeons Stage 9 ~ 12. Tips: Invest your resources into Zachary instead of Evelyn to battle against Fire/Wood element enemies as she will be mostly used for Hero Synthesis!

Evelyn Bio
Evelyn grew up a child of aristocracy, summering in palaces by the Jakubik Coast or in her father’s grand estates during winter until palace intrigue removed her from the nobility, her father, and Lasir altogether. Evelyn may not have survived exile to the far settlements were it not for the legendary swordsman Zachary and then Yolanda, both friends of Evelyn’s mother, who took Evelyn under their wings in those early days until she could defend herself.
Thus Evelyn began a new life on the Empire’s border. Evelyn spent long years refining her swordsmanship under Zachary’s and then Yolanda’s tutelage in the Free Cities, a place far enough from Lasir to provide Evelyn refuge from her painful memories until Yolanda finally revealed Evelyn’s natural affinity for the Light and future destiny as a warrior for the Halo of Dawn, the Guardians of Aurelica.
Quested by Yolanda, Evelyn must now embark on her first real mission for the Halo of Dawn and travel to and confront her fears in Pegasus as a part of her “Glorianas” trials. The great tragedy of her life, the death of her mother and abandonment by her father, must be revisited soon enough…
