Marauder Review

Marauder is a Rare HP Spirit affinity champion from the Shadowkin faction in Raid Shadow Legends as part of the latest patch 4.20. He is one of the two new champions introduced in May 2021 to the Shadowkin Faction. Marauder’s unique skill set includes the ability to stun opponents, decrease their attack, and reflect damage. As an HP-based champion, Marauder’s durability makes him a valuable asset in battles, as he is relatively easy to keep alive. However, despite his durability, Marauder’s kit may not offer extensive versatility beyond his strong reflect ability against the Fire Knight dungeon. In battles against the Fire Knight, Marauder’s reflect ability proves to be particularly effective, as it reduces the shield of the Fire Knight every time a reflected hit lands, making it easier for the team to deplete the shield quickly.

Kanabo Jutsu
Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 15% chance of placing a [Stun] debuff for 1 turn.
Level 2: Damage +5%
Level 3: Damage +10%

Reckless Sweep (Cooldown: 4 turns)
Attacks all enemies. Has a 50% chance of placing a 25% [Decrease ATK] debuff for 2 turns.

Level 4: Buff/Debuff Chance +10%
Level 5: Buff/Debuff Chance +15%
Level 6: Cooldown -1
Damage Multiplier: 0.2 HP

Roaring Challenge (Cooldown: 5 turns)
Has a 50% chance of placing a [Provoke] debuff for 1 turn. Places a [Shield] buff on this Champion for 2 turns equal to 20% of their MAX HP. Also places a 15% [Reflect Damage] buff on all allies except this Champion for 2 turns.
Level 2: Buff/Debuff Chance +10%
Level 3: Buff/Debuff Chance +15%
Level 4: Cooldown -1
Level 5: Cooldown -1

Aura
Increases Ally HP in all Battles by 15%

    I just tested his A3 and it looks like it’s single-target only

    @Shawn Marauder has provoke on his A3, so when provoked target attacks him, there’s a chance the *attacker* gets frozen (frost set is a defensive set, unlike toxic/stun/daze sets).

    Why have frost armor for him? He doesn’t freeze.

    You could certainly put him in a Stun set but if you put him in a Shield set and a Clan V. Clan Shield ring he places three shields, Underpriest Brogni increases the value of all of them, and Underpriest’s passive imbues them all with Reflect Damage and healing capabilities.

    Better than expected. When “leveling food”, if something shows promise I tent to wanna try it out at level 50, this is one of those. You wouldn’t think that this guy can survive so well with such low base stats. Right now, with modest gear, several level 16, nothing specific, he can 12.3 Brutal at level 50. Takes him a bit over a minute, and it is interesting to see how he works. (much better than Lifetaker – another rare shadowkin, imho )

    his A3 is TAUNT single target (i think) with no damage.. some other cool stuff on it. But doesn’t seem op. in spider reflect damage won’t kill spiderlings.
    his A2 could be useful.
    He is HP based and his AoE can hit as hard as Kael’s AoE almost exactly. So he’s pretty strong, though i feel almost no one will invest in him.

    Is it just me or is that A3 potentially broken af in Spider / Arena ?
    not too mention he can be built with Stun set + Perception. and keep the Spiders down.

    Seems like a pretty good HP Support rare.
