MapleStory 2 Heavy Gunner Heavy Gunner: Carrying their heavy artillery weapons called Cannons, they are outlaws of the battlefield and destroy everything with a casual look on their faces. Even with their natural strength, dexterity, and powerful weapon, they are hard to work with. Their unpredictable and eccentric natures mean never-ending problems with these brats. The Heavy Gunner is from the ‘Talisker’ area in Kerning City, where they work as hired mercenaries for scientists. Many of them used to be regular, hot-blooded people in Maple World. These scientists provided them superior weapons so they could become stronger but due to their free-spirited nature, the group mentality was weak. Now, many Heavy Gunners are running rampant all over the world, showing off their power.

Heavy Gunner Skills

Gatling Fire (Active)
Required Level:
Level 1: Attack up to 3 enemies 3 times with 15% damage within a distance of 8m. Every successful hit heals 3 SP.
Level 10: Attack up to 3 enemies 3 times with 25% damage within a distance of 8m. Every successful hit heals 5 SP.

Rocket Launcher (Active)
Required Level:
Level 1: Use 40 SP to attack an enemy within 9m in front of you while recoiling yourself. Deals 100% damage to 8 enemies in a 3m radius of the target. Deal 150% additional damage to enemies on fire. Enemies on fire will take 10% damage every few seconds for 3 seconds if they are on the ground of the exploded shells.
Level 10: Use 30 SP to attack an enemy within 9m in front of you while recoiling yourself. Deals 150% damage to 8 enemies in a 3m radius of the target. Deal 220% additional damage to enemies on fire. Enemies on fire will take 15% damage every few seconds for 5 seconds if they are on the ground of the exploded shells.

Flamethrower (Active)

Level 1: Use 12 SP to blow fire to up to 8 enemies within a 6m distance in front of you, dealing 70% damage. Enemies on fire will deal 10% damage every second for 3 seconds. You can hold down the key to and move with the arrow keys to pan the direction of the fire.
Level 10: Use 10 SP to blow fire to up to 8 enemies within a 6m distance in front of you, dealing 110% damage. Enemies on fire will deal 20% damage every second for 3 seconds. You can hold down the key to and move with the arrow keys to pan the direction of the fire.

Homing Missiles (Active)
Required Level:
Level 1: Use 20 SP to launch 3 homing missiles. The missiles will fly everywhere in 7.5m distance, dealing 100% to enemies.
Level 10: Use 20 SP to launch 5 homing missiles. The missiles will fly everywhere in 7.5m distance, dealing 150% to enemies.

Laser Cannon (Active)
Required Level:
Level 1: Use 20 SP to launch a powerful laser that penetrates up to 8 enemies within a 7m distance, dealing 100% damage. If you charge the laser for 3 seconds, the power of the laser is increased by 1.5 times.
Level 10: Use 15 SP to launch a powerful laser that penetrates up to 8 enemies within a 7m distance, dealing 150% damage. If you charge the laser for 1.5 seconds, the power of the laser is increased by 2 times.

Grenade (Active)
Required Level:
Level 1: Throw two grenades on the ground at a 4.5m distance. 1 second after thrown, the grenades will explode in a 1.5m radius, dealing 100% fire damage to 5 enemies and 30% chance of 1 second stun.
Level 10: Throw two grenades on the ground at a 4.5m distance. 1 second after thrown, the grenades will explode in a 3m radius, dealing 150% fire damage to 5 enemies and 50% chance of 2 seconds stun.

Magnetic Bomb (Supportive)
Required Level:
Level 1: Throw a magnetic bomb to the farthest enemy in a 9m distance. The bomb will create a magnetic field, bringing all enemies within a 3m radius to the area for 2 seconds. Enemies effected will have 5% decreased physical resistance.
Level 5: Throw a magnetic bomb to the farthest enemy in a 9m distance. The bomb will create a magnetic field, bringing all enemies within a 4.5m radius to the area for 4 seconds. Enemies effected will have 15% decreased physical resistance.

Reload (Supportive)
Required Level:
Level 1: Replace ammunition to fully restore SP.
Level 5: Replace ammunition to fully restore SP.

Blast Jump (Active)
Required Level:
Level 1: Use 2 EP to push yourself back 3m, dealing 30% damage to 5 enemies within the vicinity and pushing them 1.5m back. Additionally, have a 50% probability of gaining 25 attack speed for 3 seconds.
Level 5: Use 2 EP to push yourself back 4.5m, dealing 45% damage to 5 enemies within the vicinity and pushing them 1.5m back. Additionally, have a 100% probability of gaining 100 attack speed for 3 seconds.

Level 1: Throw a time bomb with a 10% chance of being equipped to an enemy. After 2 seconds, the bomb will explode in a 1.5m radius, dealing 30% damage to up to 3 enemies.
Level 10: Throw a time bomb with a 30% chance of being equipped to an enemy. After 2 seconds, the bomb will explode in a 1.5m radius, dealing 50% damage to up to 5 enemies.

Cannon Mastery (Passive)
Required Level:
Level 1: Increase your cannon attack range by 5% and attack by 30.
Level 10: Increase your cannon attack range by 15% and attack by 30.

Siege (Passive)
Required Level:
Level 1: Increase your damage by 10% if you do not move for 4 seconds.
Level 5: Increase your damage by 20% if you do not move for 2 seconds.
