BTD5 Bloons Tower Defense 5 – Daily Challenge (September 19 2012) – The Monkey isn’t Always Right Guide. Monkeys can only use left path upgrades, non-monkeys can only use right path upgrades. Beat Snake River medium from round 30 with 8,000 cash.

BTD5 Tower Recipe:
2 Monkey Ace (4/0) – Destroys all Bloons (especially Red and Blue Blimps + Regenerative)
3 Monkey Apprentice (3/0) – Teleports Bloon and destroy Lead Bloon.
4 Bomb Tower (0/3) – Destroys Red and Blue Blimp.
2 Ninja Monkey (4/0) – Destroys Camo Bloon.
7 Banana Farm (0/0) – Generate extra income.
2 Ice Tower (3/0) – Freeze and Slow down Bloon.
1 Spike Factory (0/0) – Destroys Bloon that escapes the main defense.

BTD5 Strategy:
Start with 2 Banana Farm (0/0), 1 Monkey Apprentice (2/0) and 1 Ninja Monkey (3/0). Next, upgrade Ninja Monkey (4/0). Upgrade Monkey Apprentice (3/0). Build 1 more Ninja Monkey (3/0) nearby the first Ninja Monkey. Build 2 Ice Tower (3/0) at the first 2 sharp corner to slow Bloon down. Build 1 more Monkey Apprentice (3/0).

Before reaching Round 46, build at least 4 Bomb Tower (0/3) to defeat Blue Blimp. Sell Banana Farm if short in cash. Build additional Banana Farm (0/0) when Bloon does not seem to be danger bypassing your defense. Round 47 will have lots of Camo Bloons invading, its best to build a Monkey Village (0/2) with Radar Scanner to allow Bomb Tower and Monkey Apprentice to assist Ninja Monkeys. Build 1 more Monkey Apprentice (3/0), you will now have a total of 3 Monkey Apprentice.

Finally, build at least 7 Banana Farms and 2 Monkey Ace (4/0) nearby Monkey Village. Sell off all Ninja Monkey to fund Monkey Ace upgrades. These planes shoots pineapple missile that acts similarly to Pineapple Bomb, very effective against Red and Blue Blimps.
